I might squeeze in a local loop in tomorrow, if I can drag my ass out of bed before 9am :S
This has been a slack XMAS for me this year ….Back to the grind of work Monday morning early
I see that our old mate “The Bear” is in South America on a support team and having a great time in the lead up to the start tomorrow.
He is regularly posting on the Trailzone facebook page and was even seen wearing an Adventure Moto T-Shirt :laugh:Grabbo`s factory backed 450 looks the goods and al the Aussie entrants are in high spirits and ready to rip
Bring it on I say !!!!
Nil, Zip, No rides yet for me :S

When I doing somethng extra stupid on the bike I quote this to myself
“you got to be tough if ya gunna be dumb” :pinch:
 Nice one Joe, but that first one is GavB`s quote thru & thru
He likes to throw that one at you when you face a deep creek or real rocky climb on a ride, usually late in the day too :whistle:Trailboss wrote:Go you good thingAnother good hash of Dave`s vid,,,
I noticed one of the bikes Ben is leaning on in the garage has been sticker bombed as well
RIDEADV is everywhere :laugh:snowy09 wrote:Peace in the middle east has more chance than eagle and I stopping putting shit on each other, nice try though oh King!AMEN to that Snowy
Boony more than once said he would NEVER own a KTM though :laugh:All the Aussies go to South America with our best wishes for the event I`m sure
I know the Newy local Troy O Connor has been putting in some extra effort in training and competing in some extra races, he just needs to stay on the bike this year, He is first to admit he is prone to a lay down here & there  He had some good results and has finished well in his races this year
Having Mark Davidson (who assisted Troy & Ben with prep and bike access in last years leadup) there competing this year will be good for the boys too…Benny, well Benny is on a roll after last years amazing result first hit and can only improve on that now he is bike fit again :woohoo:
I will be watching closely daily , as usual and wish all the very best of luck
GO BOYS GO
Trust XY to bring up the old” Eagle is a Dirty Bird”  It`s only a rumour XY 😆
My old favourite is,
“If ya can`t be good, Be good at I t!!!”Good onya King
Have a Royal XMAS mate :laugh:Cheers
I`m just vegging out and going off the grid over the break this year…
Relos down again from Brisvegas,,,
Got pissed as a newt last night at the pub after work
It`s been a very stressful few weeks and I can`t even be bothered looking at the bike to be honest :SAnyway, a very MERRY XMAS TO ALL and families.
Hopefully can get onto a few rides next year when things settle downCheers
All the best to ya Kram aka Goldfish
Hope it was a blinder of a day for ya mate with a brew or ten thrown in :laugh:Have a merry Xmas too mate
I think my fav ride this year was the run to Nambucca Heads with the ADV crew
Great trails, scenery in places I had never ridden before and a great bunch to ride with.
Also had some good single track in places and quite a few challenges to catch you out late on both days 😆
The Donkey already made it there once without you TR,,,
Albeit, it took longer than a day but only because Ace was in tow on the Beemer(did I say that)???
I am sure the longest day has been done before on other machines equal to or even slower than the Donkey mate
Rumours are that it is being watched more closely nowadays by Mr Plod and his mates in certain areas, and the wildlife is a bit thicker on the ground this year too ??? :S :S
Give Lefty a holler mate, he did it last year and would have some good advice for an attempt…
Cheers
+1 on all the above that TB mentioned Pep
I have TB`s old Andy`s bags and they are now well past being handy on a decent trip. Damn they did some miles though and suffered a few scrapes along the trail and rocks at times :whistle:Am now using Wolfman Expedition bags from Steve @ Adventuremoto and they are the schniz. Simple, fast yet very secure to attach and as watertight as you can possibly get
On another note,,,
Are you the founding member of the new Tamworthian ADV posse ???
If you are, be sure to deny memberships to both Boony & Snowy   :laugh:Cheers mate
