Eagle, I think it would fit you better than me as you are thinner in the chest. You should have enough adjustment to tilt the plate back. I was wearing it over my body armour (six six one pressure suit)and it was really comortable and I didn’t really notice it until the steep down hills. Like TB said I like my bars low on the Sherco so that would add to my neck tilting back further than normal.

I also have a long skinny neck :laugh:
And I have recently lifted the bars on the KLX when I fitted the new ones, they could probably still go a tad higher though,,,

I can only imagine the disappointment after spending the time & effort to organise such a ride, especially O/S !!! To have it end like that is a tragedy to say the least, at least you survived the collision ok :blink:
I wouldn`t worry too much about the verbal attacks from the other guys, you can only do your best to ensure that it comes off without a hitch, and that is a massive ask sometimes on any ride.
I have been on a few two day rides in NSW with OBT & we have had a couple of instances when things had to be changed due to weather, swollen creeks etc Lucky for us, we had some very experienced leaders in TB & Crash to get us out of the poo & back on track, so to speak :laugh:

Better Luck next time I suppose is all I can say mate,,,,
