Wish I could have made it down, but I am tied up in Newy for a bit sorryHave a great time
Cheers Mate,
Now I will source a set of the OEM`s for the next time I bust a guard :dry:I wanted to get back on the trail ASAP, so I went the genuine,,,
A big pissaround though was not what I expeted, especially from a dealer that I have purchased numerous parts plus other gear before :blink:Can`t fathom how a dealer can have so much trouble finding a GENUINE part on the Kawasaki database
Even if there is a problem with the system, I would have thought a bit of a better look into it, or even a phone call !!! WOULD HAVE SAVED ME SOME GRIEF & WASTED TIME
Instead I got the good old phrase “Sorry, it is not available & don`t know what will fit in its place”  :angry:NOT ONCE BUT TWICE
Very Poor
Dunno Hatto, I couldn`t get KX guards anywhere,,,,
They weren`t even interested to tell you the truth, I asked ig I coud get some assistance as it had been a two week problem & all they were worried about was that if they ORDERED SOME IN I WOULD BE STUCK WITH THEM, FIT OR NO FIT   :angry:So I got the genuine ones from Cherie at Cessnock at a discounted price
The local Newcastle dealer can get nicked!!! I will now drive to Cessnock for parts if needed & my next bike (if it is green) will come from there as well
ME ???
Nah AB, I leave Pupkins to do their own damage !!! hahaha
 Actually I did think about calling it quits TB, it IS IN MY REPORT if ya look properly
There had already been some others call it quits & I was hitting the wall & it was pissing down rain
But it was AB that helped me up the hill & coaxed me along for a minute!!! Then it was on , business as usual,,, until AB`s kato died anywayCheers Again to all that attended, it was a good but challenging day
I can now resurface the Gimp Ball myself in Poyurethane
Horns,,, All Old Bulls should have horns
I thought that was what Movember was all about ??? A month of madness & acting stupid with a MO ???
hang on,,,, thats me all year round, minus the MO    :silly:We know how to have a good time down this way Corey !!! As do all other Old Bulls in their respective areas :cheer: or so I hear
Come on down sometime indeed
CheersOk,
Day 8 update after the Teralba to Nowhere & back Ride for Movember !!!101ks of riding for me today, I actually commuted over to the start point & back so take off about 8 or so ks for the loop.
Great to meet up with some old faces again, and meet a couple of new ones tooThanx Dan for the ride
You did well mate, especialy for the conditions out there!!!
Wet wet wet was the order of the day once we got underway & hit the forest.
It turned out to be a bit of a ride of attrition  with a few droping off throughout the day as well, even a DRZ with a badly leaking shaft seal that didn`t make the start    Relax Boony we won`t harp on too much about that oneCredit to all the guys that turned out for the ride, with the overnight downpour I expected to see a few less even!!!!
I had a good day, despite seeing some Walls loooming a couple of times (thanx AustBlue for coaxing me along that little bit up that hill)
I pushed on and admit that I was somewhat relieved when the Kato started to not play, so we had to tow it out & call it day
I think there were some others feeling the same way just quietlyBig Thanx to TB & Bob as well for the grouse hot BBQ sangas at the lunchstop :cheer: Sure beats lugging food around as well in the wet sloppy clay,,,,
Sorry KD for the little bump that I gave you too  But you will plsy Ninja Breakdancing Turtle in front of me on the trail  What am I supposed to do ???
Wish Murph had helmet Cam, that would have been the funniest OBT crash ever, Double Crash evenI am done with the cleanup of the bike & gear, Now I am gonna relax & soothe the aches ready for the new job start tomorrow !!!
Cheers for Now
