Damn,
My plastic Toggle switch snapped off this morning (internally), so I grabbed a stainless steel one from Bias Boating this arvo, much stronger,,,,
ALSO
Be careful of the little white resistor (besides getting hot) Mine is now broken out of the loop:huh:
Was heating the heatshrink I installed on saturday, removed the cablet ie holding the resistor to the headlight assebmby & whammo , it fell free from the tiny wire that it was attached to:(It`s a 10W 2RJ White resistor,,,,, What can I do now to replace it I wonder ??? Any suggestions???
The heaters worked so well too!!!!

Nice, Pics & vid are great mate!!
Were you guys out there on Sunday? , as we were in that vicinity with Murph`s Bash.
Had lunch at the servo too:)
Would have been good to hook the two groups together, had we known you guys were up there!!!Next time maybe,,,,
CheersYeah, FOOLY SIK Vid Robo:P
I love the Glasshouse Mountain area, I want to spend some time up there one day!!!!
Have been there twice but not had time to look around much, maybe an OBT weekend would be the go I reckon:)You are lucky to have KTM01 up in that area too, he is a top bloke;)
Cheers
Yeah,,, WTF????
Alls Good Champo, I can get some that size later from work if I need it:)
Didn`t even give it a thought yesterday, now my new grips are on (without glue) so some compressed air should get them off without damage,,,,,
Chicken tells me the crew was at Sunny Corner at 3pm, got away about 5 .45am;)
So I presume all went well today:) , they are not online, so probably unable to:(We will have to wait till they return for an update:cheer:
Now have em wired up, working and yes the hands are nice & warm;)
Left it running on the low setting for a solid 5 mins before the left grip heated enough to notice with bare hands (would have been good to insulate the bar first , as a lot of the heat is transferred into the bars first:huh: ) The throttle tube, being plastic, is almost instantaneous warmth:)I have temporarily wired the power lead straight from the battery at present, till I am 100 % happy with the test ride on Monday,,,, I also need to get to work to use the heat gun to shrink all the heatshrink on the cable connections etc;)
One point to note is , the positioning on the WHITE RESISTOR, as it gets F@%#&*@G HOT:blink: So be careful to keep it away from other importatnt cables & plastic parts!!!
Mine is cable tied to a small steel bar on the bottom of the headlight assembly, where it will also get tonnes of fresh cool air whilst on the move
So FAR, Very Happy indeed:woohoo:Good Luck All
An Australian man was having a coffee and croissants with butter and jam in a cafe when an American tourist, chewing gum, sat down next to him.
The Australian politely ignored the American, who, nevertheless started up a conversation.
The American snapped his gum and said,
‘You Australian folk eat the whole bread?’The Australian frowned, annoyed with being bothered during
his breakfast, and replied, ‘of course.’The American blew a huge bubble. ‘We don’t. In the States, we only eat
what’s inside. The crusts we collect in a container, recycle them,
transform them into croissants and sell them to Australia .’The American had a smirk on his face. The Australian listened in silence.
The American persisted, ‘D’ya eat jam with your bread?’
Sighing, the Australian replied, ‘of course.’Cracking his gum between his teeth, the American said, ‘we don’t.
In the States, we eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then we put all
the peels, seeds and the leftovers in containers, recycle them,
transform them into jam and sell it to Australia ..The Australian then asked, ‘Do you have sex in the States?’
The American smiled and said ‘Why of course we do.’
The Australian leaned closer to him and asked, ‘And what do you do with the condoms
once you’ve used them?’‘We throw them away, of course!’
Now it was the Australians turn to smile.
‘We don’t. In Australia , we put them in a container, recycle them, melt them down into
chewing gum and sell them to the United States .
Why do you think it’s called Wrigley’s?’?Thanx Boon ( I think NOT)
You have NO IDEA ,, Do Ya ?????
