I use Shonky Maps Topo on my Garmin GPS as a back up to the original software,, It has a bit more detail as far as off road trails etc than the Garmin software & it seems to be pretty reliable.
I am going to get a new tyre this arvo – I am going to try an MX retread for this trip. On the MX retread site they say they are the bee’s knee’s and it would have to be true as it is on the internet

I was lucky with the getoff on that steep hill!!!!
Landing on that rock with the left shroud sure made a “THUMP”, can`t believe that the radiator didn`t suffer big time:dry:There are quite a few small puncture marks in the plastic when I got all the mud off & had a good geezer:huh: The main impact seemed to be smack bang on the line of the steel frame!!!
