I changed the name to Gregyver for you mate,,,
I notice there was another Greg above Permanent on the list  That may have been a double up so TB will be onto that.Sorry TB, I thought you guys would be out pre running already (not another 10am start is it???)
TB hates anyone playing with his rider list , I have been warned before:laugh:
G`Day Greg,
Gregyver,,, I like that username, hopeful you will be one of those all time go to guys on the Nav Rides when things turn to shit `cause you have a gadget or fix for every situation 😆
Welcome to the Nuthouse mate, you will have a ball.
Looking forward to meting up at Wauchope next week mate ,And yeah,,, What`s this Facebook you speak of ????? That sux I recko  :silly:

We are all good thanx ayway mate
I am travelling up with Ace and a trailer with the Pumkin & Latte machine in tow :laugh:Maybe Lefty would like to travel with you,, he is from out your way , He was talking about maybe riding up there
Better to have the unit hard wired if possible and forget the battery dramas.
Also makes it possible to leave the backlight on which makes the maps easier to seeYep, Sure are
And the little 60 & 62`s are pretty easy to see on the fly which is important.
There are larger more sophisticated units that do the same as car navigation units (Zumo series) but if you are after a cheaper more robust unit, these are hard to go past ..Good Luck on the research
I`m not a very fair man
He was gonna give me info to post up, but then he was so excited about it he decided he would do it himself :silly:
Some of it did involve the KING and a hill though ,,, That`s all I`m gonna say 😆 😆I also just had a call from TB
He sounded PUMPED with a capital “P” and they were still riding to the Motel for tonites rest, before resuming Day 2 route in the morning.
He has some good info to post up,,, he mentioned the same word to me about 5 times in 4 minute chat
Sorry to leave you guys hangin`, but
you will have to wait 😆
Ace wrote:No problems mateJust don’t spend too much time sitting on my steed during the week!
let the countdown begin :woohoo:
I just did that and checked your fuel level,,, looks like you have 3/4 full :woohoo:
Maybe should have left it off the trailer so I could commute to work on some Bling:laugh:
All good, extra straps etc thrown in the trailer, ready to rock

Welcome to the ADV scene mate , you will be hooked as well I reckon
See ya fri evening !!!Bunnings also had a couple of cheaper ones starting arouns $12 but I thought I wouldn`t want it to snap first time I need it
My Bahco is the orange handled one TR not exactly the same as the one in Gav`s link .
Cheers
Yeah mate,,
There are quite a few threads on here about GPS units, pros & cons etc etc
You will find it hard to go past Garmin 60 or the newer 62 series unitsA lot of us run the 60CSX or 62`s on the 2 day navigation rides as well as normal day trips.
Very easy to use, wide range of mount options, hardwire kits, software & great mapsTB has all the knowledge, as he has about a dozen units of different models  And he uses them to great advantage.
That`s exactly what he is doing right now for the weekend, mapping out next weeks route :woohoo:Have a gander thru this lot until he chimes in to help out,, he will, he can`t help himself

Ollie
I think it will outlast me as Bahco make some damn good quality tools from what I have seen in the past
Good idea Storky ,, Doesn`t get quite hot enough to melt the handle obviously ???
I had some things to do this morning, so happened to call into Bunnings for a gander & sausage sanga
Picked up the last one of the Bahco pruning saws that GavB posted a pic of for $28.
Nice and light, positive lock on closed position and super sharp and can live in my camelbackThanx for the heads up TB
