No riding for me either I`m afraid Murph :S
Been busy making my terraced backyard and stairs fall safe for our dog that has recently gone blind from cataracts  :pinch:
She is near 14years old and we can`t bring ourselves to sending her on just yet,, she is still in good health for her age and has been with us since my daughters birth so a real part of the family ,,,
Already had a couple of tumbles off rock gardens over a metre high in the past fortnight and been lost in the backyard a few times  :unsure:Things we do for family and pets hey ???
I`m sure there are Old Bulls out there somewhere ripping it up though
CheersI have 20ltr water bottles with the tops cut off to fit inside my pannier bags and large holes cut in the bottom for emergency drainage. I have TB`s old Andy`s bags though, not Wolfman,,,
Only used the liners once,,, They hold the bags in perfect shape and make it easy to pack and strap them onto my frames,,,
But, as pointed out by a bloke we know,,, Can be painful in the event of a fall onto the side if your leg gets trapped (same as hard cased pannier boxes)
Also not much use if only taking minimal gear and wanting to roll the bags down at the top to reduce size. For example, Gauranteed pub stays etc when not carting as much camping/cooking gear,,,I pack all heavier items like tools, spare tube, container of spare part/nuts and bolts etc down low and the lighter gear on top. Also thinking of as even distribution of weight from side to side .
Maybe use those containers towards the back of the bags and softer gear to the front maybe ???
Plenty of experiences to be shared on here anyway from the ADV crew that have tried and tested all this sort of stuff
Good Luck with it,,, you will end up packing, unpackin and repacking numerous times each trip anyway from experience

LET`S GO TODAY   :laugh:Big Thanx to Jeffro, I have a loan of his MoTow bike carrier. I was looking at buying one but not sure of the concept,, “Come check out mine and if you like it take it with you and store it while I`m Overseas” said the Big Fella
Well the pickup happened last night and well, the 690 fits fine on the back of the Cruiser,,,
With a couple of plugs for some OBT supporters thrown inEag’s if I haddn’t actually seen you ride that bike, looking at that pic I would think it’s a new bike off the show room floor. Do you spend 2 hours cleaning for every hour on the bike???
I don’t think I have washed my WR since Mick’s Wauchope ride, and the Beemers not in much better shape….might have to clean it this weekend
FF

Nope, I just wash it after each ride with CT20, good old spray with silicone once in a while or wipe over plastics with Armourall wipes23,000k and never had high pressure sprsy near it
Keep `em clean and it`s an easy job each time
O`Neal Fazer boots
They were cheap at the time and all I could afford,,,
Didn`t take long to wear out and go soft in the ankle area,,,Needless to say I was wearing them when I stuffed my ankle on the Hill End Ride a few years ago :pinch:
Ankle has never been the same, never will be and I have never looked back after replacing them with the TCX Pro`sHAPPY BIRTHDAY LEFTY
Hope it`s a great day for you buddy,,, it`s not every day you get to turn “13” :laugh:sorry mate, couldn`t resist  Couldn`t believe it didn`t come up already actually ,,,
Well it is on your avatar picCheers
 SHIT A BEAR ????
