Well the pickup happened last night and well, the 690 fits fine on the back of the Cruiser,,,
With a couple of plugs for some OBT supporters thrown inAll the best for the day Tezza !!

Careful what ya wish for Left One  :silly:
Would be a fair run for the day Lefty, I am driving up this time (thanx to Jeffro`s loaner bike rack I am minding)
Unsure whether to ride ADV or hang out and trail it and see more of Mt Seaview,,,, I haven`t been there since `95 :dry:It was a great place then for exploring in a 4×4 , so would be even better on a bike for sure !!!
See ya there
Yeah Thanx mate
I watched this vid a long time ago when researching the 690`s and racks etc ,,,
My original tank bolts get checked about every 3 months and guess what,,,, No sign of any movement, slack or fatigue… they are one of the first items I checked on the bike on pickup (MickP`s advice actually)I realise that it could happen one day and if I was lugging heaps of gear and fuel like in a Simpson Crossing or something, I would have changed them ages ago justin
In my old job I had acess to guys that could have knocked a set of those out no worries,, no such luck currently:S
My Touratech racks have the double leg supports to the peg mounts and as such help support the rear end a lot more than the single leg KTM design also !!!
I continue to monitor for now, but both upper & lower bolts are definately on the list for changeout one dayCheers

Two things here not just for Ollie but for everybody.
1/ ring up and book your site/ camping/ swag spot or bunkhouse tree house no matter where and how you are sleeping
2/ if you are bringing a partner like Ollie  or a friend like most normal men get them to join up or if they win a prize it will go to someone else because you need to be an old bull to receive prizes
TB
Further to this,,,
There are only 12 powered sites,,, I just got one, so if you need power for your hair dryer or what ever  it`s best to grab one earlyApril 11, 2013 at 4:54 am in reply to: Old Bull Trailriders is celebrating its 5th Birthday 5th, 6th and 7th of July #239315BOOKED IN this arvo,

Old Bulls – 0 :laugh:All Hail the KING :woohoo:
Great work Boll, You the Man
The Nundle pumps copped a flogging last weekend with the Easter crowds I think :laugh:
Back on the real topic ,,, Again :whistle:The trip went ahead this morning,,
Road trip to check out the 250,
All good, owner had not much of an idea really about bike (only an L plater himself), only 7000k on the clock, engine oil clean as a whistle. With the service intervals on these things, it was hardly even run in, runs as smoth as silkDeal was done and bike brought back to my place for a good going over, wash, detail, Air Filter clean (new one installed, old one washed)
Lowered the seat height a tad,, the young bloke is only 58kgs so struggled to get his feet on the ground
Adjusted the clickers all round to standard setting…
He is buying new rear tyre this week, chain, Yamalube oil and filter so we can change them all next weekend and get him set with his service schedule,,,,It came up a million bucks actually and came with White Bros pipe installed, spare tubes, spare spark plug, new air filter, Pro Billet rear rack and Giant Loop coyote loop bag , old pipe and emission gear that was removed etc etc
It was enjoyable to help him out, show him some things and watch his smile widen when it was detailed and looking like brand new
I forgot to get any pics though  :laugh:
Now that`s sad 😆Nundle looks a lot quieter that it was last weekend BTW
ENJOY
How are the crossings thru Barry Station after the recent wet weather over the past months,, some guys got washed off a crossing a while back, water was rushing down there at a rapid rate :blink:snowy09 wrote:Cumon Eags we know its really for you, years ago when you used to be a trail rider you would not have even asked this question but now your a gay adventure rider you need to look for the complete opposite of what you now rideLightweight
Powerfully
Good suspensionSummary
Even a trashed thrashed and bashed WR would be an
Improvement on your B double:laugh:
Knew I would get a pisstake eventually,,, and who would have guessed it would be YOU SNOWMANI can assure you it is not for me,,,, 250`s are for FAGS and WIMPY OLD MEN (just like the T Shirt thread said)
😆
I will see you at Nundle later in the year and we can talk about that over a brew
September is the plan isn`t it ?????Hey Rocket,,
Yeah the 690 handles the singles, better than most expect, as you found out
But the offer is sadly not up for you to flog it like it was yours either   :laugh:Anyway,,
Back on topic,,, which is a WR250R for a mates young bloke !!!
We are looking at it Sunday actually -
