What`s your plan PTW ??????

Keen to ride if we depart at 3 :whistle:3 Amigos ride again
Yeah Amy,,,
I got the message all good.
Would be great if you could make it,,, I reckon we are looking at closer to 3pm liftoff.
Depends on who is tagging along really ,,,Just flick me a message closer to the date and I will sort it if I can

Great gang lined up, awsome route, even better country to see if that`s even possible :woohoo: :woohoo:
Ace wrote:That route looks the goods Eags. Should be a nice cruisy ride down :woohoo: A great way to start an awesome weekend! All we need on a friday arvo I reckon Ace ,, I will have been at work from 4.30am anyway nest friday
Will organise the meet point & time very soon

Anyone else thinking of tagging along friday arvo ?????Put it out there and we might be able to work something out

Interesting that my 2010 is scheduled for Oil change intervals of 7,500k…
Wonder why the E & R are different, only real differences were the suspension setup, seat height and headlight assembly I thought :whistle:I change it usually on or just before 5,000 with filters and screens, so really I find the Motorex not too badly priced for that . Plus the Suttos discount makes it even better

Best thing I have done to mine is adding the MSC damper and riser setup and MKIII Pivot Pegs I think.
And run the foam filter setup with couple of extra holes in the airbox snorkel with Pool Filter skin over the top
Still monitoring the Tankbolts and all good so far (but will upgrade one day)
I haven`t bothered with a custom seat, I find it fine for a one dayer and add the Airhawk for a longer day or multi day rides.
Leaning the same way with extra fuel capacity,,, Can`t really justify the expense for a massive ugly tank when the fuel bladder gets me where I want to go. (No Simpson Crossings for me) :laugh:Murph the surf wrote:Hey Eags
Surely ya miss, where the action is.
Cool, thanks for the feedback.

We thought the prices were a bit extreme, but hey, what do you do. :woohoo:      :laugh:Thanks to Tim for the paint shop. :silly:
Cheers
MurphAction,,, I like action,,, Just not keen on torturing the old bones mate
You blokes are still crazy
Great work on the sign by Timbo too
Funny shitOllie wrote:Like the others have said stuff with balled up newspaper, change a couple of times then finish off in a cool place out of the sun.Good idea with the Kitty Litter (dont use it after the Cats done his Biz tho   )
When they are dry you can get some warm Lanolin or Linseed oil and give it a good wipe out both inside and out to help preserve the leather.
Hey Razz did you go into Maria SF ? you gotta watch out for some of those creeks the 4×4’s have done agood job on a lot of them.
Ollie
Nice one Ollie,,
Trust a Kiwi to think of Sheep scented boots  :laugh:Excellent water proofing quailities though ????
Just might be worth a go ,,,,,,So we lost a few posts on here since friday
Bugger,,,Anyway I remember that Kamakazi Rocket was paired up with Me & Ace for the weekend, poor him
Welcome aboard KR, should be a hoot of a weekend, just bring your sense of adventure, your best navigation eyes and a cast iron gut
:laugh:Also saw that Steve (Wolfy) chimed in and has a couple of special guests coming along, Mr Payne from Yamaha Aus and Jason Barrett from Barrett Exhausts
AwsomeI also posted the link for the maybe proposed route I might take on the friday arvo to Mittagong,

Any other Hunter based riders have any other ideas or keen to hook up for the group ride down maybe.
Will probably change my departure time to 3pm (Newy area) to accommodate PTW if he is keen to ride rather than drive to Wisemans ,,, No real adventure in that and cuts the ride time way too short
This will be a crackerjack run as TB sure knows how to peice together a terrific ADV route and thanks to him, we get to share it and follow along at our own pace

Bring it on, I can`t wait !!!!
You blokes still have it too good up there
Nice one, and a good crew assembled by the looks too ,,,
Thanx for rubbing it in

I normally do as Jeffro mentioned,
Give them a hose out if wet or crappy and let dry out in a well ventilated spot. Upside down for a day or two then on their side.Just not like TB did in his carport & got them ripped  :pinch:
I tried the newspaper but usually forget to swap or remove it and end up trapping moisture in too long :S
Yep,
All the best Nato,,Hope bro and Bigger A buy you some good gear
Goddamn Crazy antics Murph :woohoo:
You blokes are madder than cut snakes,,,, make that Sea Snakes
Thanx for the pics, I`m sure you had your hands full as it was without stopping to get pics as well
Cheers man
Awww Yeeeah

Sweet ride there Teza !!
They are an awsome ride and one of my favs for a traily (if only I could afford to run two bikes that`s what I would have in the shed next to the 690R)
Enjoy mate
Interesting interview with Mr Strange and his mate on ABC Radio,,
A bit long, but a great insight into what they went through both in the leadup and during the event.
All seemed relieved it was over :laugh:Hard yakka for sure !!!
On another note,,
Our Newy Publican (Troy) is reportedly looking pretty good to back up next year for unfinished business
Apparently he is sporting the failed Oil Cooler and Roadbook at the pub for storytime & giggles :laugh:I need to get over there to see him ASAP, I still need to shake his hand & shout him a brew
Jeffro wrote:I still have to make my pannier racks before then. Luckily I am off for a week before hand.I think you should have good contacts with people that can make that happen

A week !!! Damn, you should only need a day at best :laugh:Thanx to you as well TB for the link fix

Now, Let`s get this ride on the go
I hate the slow buildup:whistle:
Got messy the more guys dropped into it hey ??? :laugh:Good find
