Great report and pics Scotty! Love to see the RMX getting a flogging!
Now, to find time to get back there for a ride… ah who am I kidding!? I’ll just have to enjoy it from behind a keyboard.   :pinch:
Site does seem painfully slow at the moment. Maybe my time zone has been set to Queensland!

Hey rocket, remember the pony express we did at Goanna tracks? I seem to recall a huge mofo jump thing in the super cross track when we took a wrong turn on the sighting lap! That was a good day! Pretty sure I had blisters on my @r$e afterwards!!
July 24, 2012 at 6:10 pm in reply to: Now I can look cooler than KRAM and Moose with a dress on….. #226596Wow TB, that needs a 90’s model DT200 to go with it, you know the ones with Fluoro Pink graphics?
I met Ben briefly at the 2009 Safari, he is an absolute champion in every sense of the word and a total gent to go with it. Glad to hear he is on the way to kicking butt again!
Yeah Bol, there are also tools to measure areas and distances by clicking on the advanced tools at the bottom of the view. Could be handy for your line of work?
Tapatalk, amazing app. One of the many I know that both SUCK and BLOW! 👿
I don’t know the area specifically, but in terms of mapping, there is a website through the Department of Lands (or whatever they call themselves this week)
http://imagery.maps.nsw.gov.au/
You need a plugin to run it and I haven’t been able to get it working on Google Chrome, but it is a ripper for checking out bush tracks. You can turn on land boundaries (cadastral features) and a heap of other information, as well as display the NSW topo maps instead of the aerial imagery. Well worth checking out. Coveres all of NSW, with aerial photography of varying ages and usefullness!
Vidoz, if you need any help with Council etc for the house on your block, I’m a surveyor and work in the region all the time, happy to help out!
Wow Moto, that’s a very impressive mod right there! Is stage 2 of the mod doing something similar to the left hand side of the bike, to even up the weight distribution?
Hope you get it sorted out with minimum fuss and that the warranty is worth more than the paper it is printed on!
How’s the fishin’ up there TB? But, in case you’re a bit annoyed about Bundy’s comment and my little jab, a suspension bridge “…is a type of bridge in which the deck (the load-bearing portion) is hung below suspension cables on vertical suspenders”
Still and all, looks like an epic ride – make the most of it eh!
Bundyroy wrote:Is it just me or is the suspension bridge missing some suspension.Noticed that myself Roy! Looks like the Suspension bridge needs a visit to Teknik!
That’s the beauty of a spark plug – no moving parts! They can last years with no problem – most blokes I know don’t bother changing theirs. I mean ever!
The other good thing about a spark plug is that its easy to check if they are working.
Sounds like you’re on a good system there, I say stick with it and you’ll be right!
Brakes are overrated mate, you’ll be right! Who here hasn’t ridden a drum-braked AG bike down a snotty hill at sphincter-puckering speed and arrived at the bottom in a shower of rocks, dust and sweat… dust and sweat cause that brown stain in your undies, right? 👿
I’ve got nothing to add to help except to hope it works out!
Hope ya have good all-weather gear TB!
