Yeah mate, still kicking! Just f’n flat out like a lizard drinkin!

Cheers for that little rap by the way!

I’ve met and ridden with quite a few old bulls over the 18 months or so (less actually) that I have been on the site, but of the blokes and blokettes I haven’t met yet I’ve always had a hankering to shoot the breeze with Mr Blue and must one day catch up with Menace.

But that being said I’m looking forward to meeting any and all bulls as time goes on. B)

I got a Yuasa clone (unbranded, but apparently from the same factory) for about $60 for the WR. Came with a 12 month warranty, so gave it a crack. No complaints and at the price even if you only get a year and a day out of it, its cheap enough.

Good luck all Old Bulls going to Condo. Keep an eye out for me & Dave, (Husky TE610). Dave is riding and I’ll be service crew (see you at the service points TB!!).

We will either be in a white Rodeo dualcab with TRANG on the doors, or a white Ford Ranger with a canopy and Doherty Smith & Associates Surveyors signwriting on the doors.

Dave pulled the big girl out of the shed over the weekend and washed the WA dust from the safari last year off her! We will probably not worry about an oil change, it only did 200km on the final day with the oil that’s in it!

We have a motel room so don’t have to put up with the generators at the showground all night – but I will try to get around and see all you blokes over the weekend – with the camera!!

    Cheers bigears!

Nah mate, cold call from carsales. Gave the guy a deal to get it off my hands, I have enough to worry about without having to worry about that! Shame to see it go, but that’s life eh!

Bugger me! I was at a similar point at several occaions in the last 18 months, but decided to keep the bike – even if I hardly get to ride the thing! But I hear ya, I hear ya well and truly!

Steve, I wish you all the best with it, especially with the selling bikes bit – that sucks!

OBT won’t be the same without you. No kidding.

I’m with Mick here, most often my feet seem to be anywhere BUT on the pegs!

Seriously though, no really! I ride the WR with my arches mostly on the pegs, but to the rear so that I have maximum possible movement at the toe. It chews the sole of my boot out but that’s what they are for I figure. Gives me a good grip with my ankle on the frame (as I can’t seem to get my knees to grip much) and still lets the toes work the controls.

That said I find the WR different to most other bikes I have ridden. This may be my skill set changing or who knows what else, but I have only started this foot position since having the WR.

Before that it was arches all the way.

    Good thread!

Words, sayings & things that need banning from OBT

“China bike” (Oh wait isn’t it already banned? ;) )

    “Bromance”

    “Moped”

…and possibly “Scooter” except in the context of it being someone’s name!

we should be very aware of our surround as it may not always be our fault.ie oncoming bullbar at 60ks will make a mess.

Yeah, and kangaroos don’t tickle much either!

Poor bugger, hope he pulls through ok. :(

As far as the great ocean road, I can’t see how it could compare to this one. Its a gridlock with so much traffic. Not even close for mine. My 2 cents anyway.

Hi Dick, Welcome to Old Bulls sunshine! I’d like to see you have a word with our friend Squirrel who has been absent of late. I think you could teach him a thing or two!

My question is: Who’s going to win Dakar this year and why?
