Excellent ekipS, hopefully I can get away one of those weekends, its been a long time since I rode Clarence!
Cool, I have a bit of info for this event:
[li]Sign in is 7am – 8am[/li]
[li]Sighting lap opens at 9am[/li]
[li]Start time is meant to be 10am[/li]
[li]The lap is apparently about 23km long[/li]
[li]Race numbers are supplied on the day[/li]I make one disclaimer that this info came from a Narrabri club member not a Tamworth JMXC member, but it is based on the previous rounds format.

Nothing better to do than dig at a ride just because you don’t want to/can’t do it?
Maybe the guys that like technical rides should be more outspoken about your rides (typically the type of ride they prefer not to do)?
I have a question about the Caves ride:
Wouldn’t I have been better off doing it in my Subaru?
Murph’s rides are like your rides, the people know what they are going to get when they go on them, if you don’t like them, don’t go. Like Murph said, the hills are do-able, and that’s where the challenge lies for the people that like to go on these rides.
All good points, moto. Maybe it needs toning down a little though!
I am not a huge fan of the long-distance rides and think Murph’s ride would be awesome. That said, if I was on a ride like the Hill End ride I did I would have a ball!
And I don’t know that I have to be any more outspoken about the rides that I prefer not to do… not really!
How about we arrange a Subaru Ride in the near future, I’ll bring my X-trail and put it up against the Suby! :silly:
Yeah Eags and we are short staffed – and I don’t mean our staff are vertically challenged! At the moment I am working 60-70 hours a week, but we have advertised for another surveyor so fingers crossed…
I have pretty much caught up with my Safari excursion, now to catch up on the rest!
And just to keep things on topic, why do you need a strap anyway? I just grab the rear fender and lug the bike around, seems to work OK. Just askin’!
Read it is harder to, yes! Saying something it is, but knowing what I am not!!!
Hmmm… at the moment my day job is my night job and my weekend job! No wonder my jokes suck! I’m delerious! And no drugs as an excuse!
Boony, given that the strap is to go on a DRZ, you had better visit TJM 4WD and get a snatch strap, then go to Westrac CAT and get some heavy duty bulldozer bolts before attaching it!
Anyone else noticed that it is much easier to read that with a Cherman accent?

Ah, I see where I went wrong! I was stupidly assuming someone at BMW could write in English!
Could be worse, it could have been written by a 15-17yo Aussie kid! Gr8!
That almost made sense….

Menace, mate, you want to cut down on that crap mate! It’ll kill ya! Heed the doctor’s warnings: “Everything in moderation – especially over-moderation!”

That’s gold Mick! Press the “Give yourself an uppercut” key to continue!
Its all a matter of degree… There is posting meaningless crap and then there is posting for the sake of posting! I still aspire to your levels of greatness, but clearly I have much to learn!
Ahem Mods…. off topic?? Ya can’t go around chipping others for doing what you guys do!
(I joke, I joke! All in fun!)

Sorry for stuffing that up before Moto, I know it upset you! Try not to lose any sleep over it, ok?
Mmmm. Murph & the Magictones, on tour starting with Erzberg!

Who would buy a banged up 300 after a crash like that. They must be desperate for a deal. Fancy taking advantage of people like that! Those 300s are crap anyway.
Axel, that comes across as a bit rough mate, I hope it wasn’t meant that way. The thread was brought back by ECKS as he some somthing to add to it. There is no problem with that.
Glad to hear Stu is back in the saddle after his ‘incident’ though, I know how that is
Hahaha! Its all good Moto, you see I had a small fish with Axel since he bought Stu’s old 300! So he had a small dig back – but didn’t take the bait! There is a lesson there to be learnt by a lot of us!
