ECKS is my initials, plus another letter. Man is what I am! Therefore I am ECKS-Man! Also, it sounds like X-Man if you say it right! I’m just a comic geek…

My current avatar is my lovely daughter Jilly!

TBAM is a good mag, no doubt. I also like the fact that if you email Tom (the editor), 99% of the time he will take the time to reply in a meaningful way! Great bloke and great mag! B)

Sorry Champo, your theory falls down because the super posties at Wello post office have delivered mine today! Actually, that’s mine from my existing subscription, the new one may or may not have shown up to the “other address”!

I also replaced the tapered expanding nuts on the ends of my barkbusters with nuts from a couple of Hilti concrete bolts – cost about 8 cents!

You blokes are tools, but that’s OK, I work well with tools!

Force are the go, virtually indestructible and fantastic back up service if you do manage to bend one. Would not go past Force. Will be getting some for my WRF as soon as I can!

Boony I want to know how you know that riding blindfolded is different!

Dave my brother in law is in the A4DE – or shall I say he has done days 1 and 2, pulled up very sore and may not make tomorrow. He is stubborn enough to give it a crack regardless I think.

Apparently AJ Roberts changed the spring on his rear shock in his 10 minute service period this morning! That would have been worth seeing! I think I might be able to get my rear shock out in 10 minutes…

I once used a ring spanner as a clutch lever on an RM125, combined with tie wire and zip ties!

I have also heard about the grass in the flat tyre.

JRD had old sockets in the top of the forks on his old XL250 to harden the forks up a bit. They were in there for years.

    I saw a bloke ride a KTM once…

We have used discharged .22 shells as fuses (old glass type). We did try with a .22 bullet once too… not discharged… well, at least not until it heated up enough to explode!!! Scared the crap out of us all!!
