Well Bruce, I have to admit that I have ridden with the Pivots more than the stockers so I think I need a reality check to see if they are doing the do or not. They seem to be better in the steeper stuff but I can’t really make a definitive call yet!
PM sent. Thanks champ!

Wow…. just wow…
Everyone back away quitely, moto’s lost it!!
Ok, after careful consideration and now more than 500km on the pivot pegs I still don’t think I know if I like them. My next plan is to swap back to the stockers and see how I like it and decide after that.
I’d have to say that with the faster trail riding on the Hill End ride the Pivots were pretty good and eased the transition from sitting to standing. I’m not sure I like the unsteady feel when I stand and often found myself with the pegs pivoted right back or forward so that they wouldn’t move. That was a subconscious thing so I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something.
On the really open road type work, the Pivots made no difference of course.
In the single trail or tight twin trail they seemed OK, and I didn’t really notice them. Which is the final reason I’ll swap back to the stockers. If I can’t notice the difference I don’t need them!
It may be that the reason I am not noticing them now is that they work fantastically well, in which case I’ll swap them back on afterwards, but I’ve got a feeling that once they come off they’ll go back in the box and be up for sale.
In that case TB, can I make my subscription prize out to my brother instead of me? I have a TBAM subscription so I’ll surprise him with one!
Welcome to Old Bull Tooly! You’ll fit right in here, especially if you can take the mickey out of like-minded blokes and enjoy a good ride!
He didn’t call me… he POSTED IT UP ON DBW!!
Sorry folks, TB is leaving OBT, he’s had a better offer from Drew over at DBW! Apparently Drew offered him a free KTM and a T-shirt (Or was that a free KTM t-shirt?) and it was an offer too good to refuse!
Maybe if we offer him two bob and a pickled egg he will come back…
Some from the Secret Handshake ride at Clarence:

Yep, both sides. Use it every time, works perfectly! Just don’t forget the insulation tape underneath or it becomes problematic to remove the grips when they are done. Try it next time, you won’t do it any other way again!

LR, have you tried the water freezing method to get the crease out of the header? Seems to work pretty well from what I have seen.
Mate of mine has those neoprene fork gaiters and reckons that they are better than nothing. Not great though.
Fair dinkum boys, I ordered 34’s and didn’t even check the size when I got them, other than to pull them on and think to myself “Geez these bloody thing are huge!”
Sorry Mick, but I did say they would fit someone who wears 38’s!
Watch Mick’s ebay account, these pants will be listed for $90 now!
Hahaha Mick! I’m positive I do, she’s my daughter! The avatar pic is a classic, she just played silly buggers one day and we happened to have the camera out! Love it, its not photoshopped or anything!
But she doesn’t really look like that…
Seriously though, wouldn’t it be an interesting view of things? You’d have to go without goggles most likely, but I’d be interested to see some footage of it.

F#&@en stupid ditch. The imprint from the liner in my helmet is still on my forehead!!!!:S
I bet my eyes looked just like the Nightrider’s from Mad max when I first spotted the ditch and realised it was to late and I was going in,head first.LOLROFL!! Now here’s an idea: TB, at the Wauchope ride put a helmet cam on Mick’s helmet…. but put it so we can see his face!
Actually that’s not a bad idea! Interesting to see how we look when we are riding – race face, panic, sheey joy, who knows?!
