Oooo, TB is playing the thumb card again! Don’t worry moto, I wouldn’t take you to hospital and wait around for you… That’s just the kinda guy I am!

You mean to tell me that you wouldn’t want him there? Think how funny it would be seeing that Kato end-for-ending down a cliff! Bring him along too, you won’t regret it!
Yeah, why not! What’s the worst that can happen?? Lynching? Hehehe!
Now I’m looking forward to this… a BRP on Fern Gully and Rubble Hill, assuming it survives The Drop! Tell you what TB, I’ll help push yours if you help push mine!
Here’s one for Chris when he gets a chance: The “Show Most Recent Message” button in the Show Latest Posts page only takes us to the page where the latest post is, yes? Can it be sorted so that it goes to the latest actual post? And can we set a default so that we don’t automatically subscribe to each thread we post in? Rather than deselecting the Subscribe button with each post I mean.
Otherwise I think you have a well-sorted site here. I like it!
I’m borrowing this pic from Disco to share with you guys…
Yeah Mick, gotta say that this would be enough to convince most blokes to keep em short!

Love that last pic Garry, very per-fessional like!

Really, Well I nearly had another starter yesterday, a local who I didn’t know rode but who is looking for good places to ride and blokes to ride with. I pointed him at this website but he is not interweb literate. Might be that he will come along on a couple of rides first?
Anyway Garry, the ride TB is talking about is from Zig Zag to Hill End on Saturday, overnight at the pub and back on Sunday. It is organised complete with super-sexy support vehicle driven by moto. Cheap and well organised… sign up mate, you’ll have a ball and the mighty DR will be well suited to it (Won’t it TB?)
Do you mean to tell me that is unacceptable behaviour here? Dang… Looks like I’ll go back where I came from then!
Hang on, under the forum rules I’m sure it says somewhere that all members are obliged to take the piss out of any other member, especially moto! I distinctly remember reading that somewhere…
Welcome Garry! Good to see you made it here! These guys are a great bunch and know their stuff(ing around)! Lot of fun to be had, and some great rides organised.
BTW, Garry is here on my recommendation so play nice with the new member kiddies!
Yeah, depending on what you say and which mod is roving around!
TT is like that at times!
Moto, have you seen Disco’s effort on “The Other Website” today? Toenail completely gone! Looks nasty!
Reckoned you would! You’ll get another 5,000km out of it on the mighty XR I’d say! (This is a comment on the tyre, not the bike or rider!)
Used one of the pool filter skins on the Clarence ride last weekend. While servicing and replacing the battery today I pulled out the filter and skin. The skin did a reasonable job, but I wasn’t comfortable leaving the filter on as it was, as some fines had managed to get through the skin. There was a fair bit of dust on the Clarence ride though, not exceptional but more than “normal”.
I also noticed that the bike was running a bit rich with the filter skin on – which may have been partially because of the altitude change. Still, I’ll be checking that out before next weekend’s ZZ-HE ride (fingers crossed, if I get time anyway!).
I have a source on twin-air filters for $17 that I’m chasing up. I think that for most one-day rides I won’t worry about the skin if I have other filters to use, but for 2-day rides (depending on dust levels) I will use the skins.
Anyone else used them? What’s your thoughts?
Geez blokes, is this the best you can do?? C’mon, this pic is gold, I expected some classy captions! Put yer thinking caps on!
