yes there are some fine tracks in both forests if you know where to look. After 6 yrs back riding we are still finding tracks that we never knew existed. Have read up on a few OBT rides out this way and some of the tracks they have used i havent been on yet. Put over 5000km up my first bike back and another 4000 on my current ride so its not like i dont get out much.

recently got a c-tek 800m/a charger when my battery went dead. these chargers also have the capability of rejuvinating a slightly damaged battery. Also comes with the terminal bolt on attatchment which allows you to just plug it in when you need to and forget about removing the seat and using aligator clamps. just leave the plug in your airbox. Paid $108 for mine but i needed it then and there. Saw them in a Repco catalogue last week for $89

Only problem i had was it needed at least 6v back charge to turn the charger on. Had to kick my bike over and go for a quick ride to give it a bit of charge so that it could detect the battery.

aha , so it was the old kill switch issue with grants bike.
good to hear the ride went well on Sunday, I bet you was cold on sat night.
me and dave both nearly drowned our bikes in different locations on the way
home sat but at least i stayed on whereas dave got turfed off and into the water.
