I just want to wade in here a bit with facts rather than keyboard conjecture…

1. The determination is with KTM/Husaberg as are all warranty claims.
2. As a rule this shop neither improves nor denigrates any warranty claim to influence an outcome. We simply report what we are asked to under that manufacturer’s guideline. To suggest otherwise is inappropriate.
3. Magnesium is highly flexible – particularly in a warm state, much like lead is cold.
4. I have seen, touched and probed the cover in question. While I don’t have an opinion I will express here about cause and effect – that’s for KTM – I will tell you it is NOT A SCUFF. It is a dent, an indentation, a relief of its intended form.

I am sensing a pattern of spades being broomsticks. Lets let the process take its course.
