MacKa…jimmy wrote:Agree with above post, apart from the ladyboy talc. I use mans cure-rash talc…..Dont use nuts on your tubes, ever. Use talc. Use quality tube. Increase pressure for rocks. Use a rim band/tape.
Dont expect someone else to carry the tools for you to fix a flat.
The other thing is, always change your tyres with the tools in your bumbag so you are used to using them.Totally agree with you there Jimmy, I run the valve nut but up against the cap.
‘ladyboy talc’ is what they wear mousse is what they eat!!!

Cheers

I see you have been doing a few good rides..
Cheers
MacKa…G’day All been a while!!!
My vote for H.
)
unless you can justify the cost of running Mousse of course, and there is a bit on ‘maintenance’ to preform with mousse.H.D tubes but the trick is NATURAL rubber and installing with baby powder, Johnson is best cause of the high talc content, however some ‘ladyboys’ my like a scented one!!!
That is how I Roll’ and riding the ‘rock garden’ of the Corner that ain’t so sunny i rarely encounter any problems.
“)insert touch wood Icon here(“My 2c worth!
Cheers
MacKaG’day all been a while!!
I agree with you a bit there TB, the mags survive on advertising, so they have to ‘bend’ the stuff they print….
keep em happy get the $$$
i agree with the first post, ADB has lost a little of it’s direction for me,
Clubby over at trail zone, great idea good mag but yeah just missing something???
adv mag, seems like a pretty good read, a lot of ADV type content if that is your thing!
Tuffy and trailrider mag not too bad an effort , got a bit more ‘real’ trail-rider (like us) type content
Transmoto looked like the ADB of old, lots of great pic’s heaps of content, but for a trail-rider a lot of ‘race’ content.
few other out there but for my $$ too much ’round in circles’ motocross crap for me!!!
better content here with the Bulls!!!! and its free……..
my 2c worth…Catch ya on the trail’s somewhere
MacKa……
BaHaHaHa!!!!!
GOLD!!!!I bought a 2000 model about 2 years ago, ‘hotted’ and tidied it up a bit, was a top little single-track machine, got left behind on the straights a bit but was awesome fun to ride.
Also got a 83 twin carb 350,(resto one day) and a 600 in the shed…
If only Honda had put a ‘leccie’ leg on em, where would we be now????Cheers

MacKa….Having been required to officially ‘burn’ a few piles of the stuff (we usually do it with pallets to get it going!)
I think that if they left it and poisoned it someone could come along and still consume it and possibly get sick ??
therefore it could be a liability thing!?!?!
I know they test it and photograph it etc prior to us torching it..Cheers..
MacKa…Team GHR have 4 Aussies competing!!
