I use to do a lot of road riding on the ‘Duke’ and the wave thing was always of interest/humour to me.
I remember one particular guy early in the morn on a trip through Newcastle a few years ago, almost stand up arm over head and wave himself off the bike, till he got the death wobbles!!
I think he was riding his brand new ‘fat-boy mid life crisis cure’ down the shop for the milk & paper, chaps, finger less gloves and all!He got the usual left hand off the bars wave from me and a shake of the head whilst laughing to myself inside the Helmet.Oh well he was having fun!
I Use to ride with a bunch of really quick guys,who loved to ‘sneak’ up on air compressor’s and weave in and around them 1 inside 1 outside !!!! (you just had to be selective which ‘patch you picked’)…
Hay Mal ring 1800 BMW, you know the number you ring for them to fly out and wipe it down before & after a ride!!!LOL!!!
