    Hi Murph,
I’m hearing you, the clearing of the trails suck .. .. and I only did a bit.

As I was out front I tried to force my way through in one section under a tree…. :pinch:

Adam walked in behind me took my hand saw out of my bag and cut me and bike free.

It didn’t work out as I had hoped.

I’m looking at getting a small chain saw just for this kind of clean up. The trouble is you need a better way of carrying it than on your lap.

I’m out for a couple of weeks but another Watties is on the cards mid – end July

Ahh, The mesh hill is becoming more difficult. But I didn’t get struck  as much as didn’t choose to plow through Sam. mind you if he wasn’t there the wind might of stopped me. :pinch:

Another great day in the bush. B) B No drama had a good go on Sams sherco fun fun fun. :cheer:

the 300 as has a noticeable torque advantage down lo. different bike to ride. but fun, great through the tight singles light and responsive .
We covered about 85 km and things were moving pretty quick. Adam had his running shoes on. I caught sight of the Speedo at 100km but it was not feeling quick . Had I come off … another story!
We all had turn at the front and some of us knew where we were going..

    Snowy,
The new machine sound great, just like you’re starting over. have you got your moose tubes in yet?

I know you don’t get punctures but… you don’t what to say too loud, new tyres and all.

I had a brand new front ran it about 10 lbs and got 6 holes in it. If it wasn’t for slime and tubliss I would still stuck at Nundle.

Look forward to seeing you and the toy down here. Discussions with Col has started. 👿

    Hi Adam,

    Thanks as usual
for a good day out. I was kept busy as sweep. The corner man system broke down a few times , leaving us waiting for a retrieval ;). Dust was not an issue and generally the riding flowed well. Thanks Brad Stu and Ian thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed the ride. It was hot but we seemed to survive. One thing about being sweep , you coming across people and bikes laying in the strangest places. some look a bit funny others just look like hard work.
My issue appears to have started with a throttle fouling the bark buster plastic. I applied throttle and the  :pinch: :pinch: The bike attacked. After the third time it stuck I worked it out
The ankle is OK but I did do a good job spraining it :S A week off the foot…

Coming back was fun and I did miss some singles  I was not looking forward to the bog hole  as falling off was not going to be fun let alone the recovery. :pinch:

Any way all good . Boots stayed on until I reached the front door and the bike had a hose down.
And Adam ,there is no video..

    Cheers Gordo

Adam Its a sad day when injuries get in the way of having a good time :(

I guess it sucks to be them :P

looks like near prefect weather for our small but mobile band.

I know a perfect tree, it got a terrific kicker

No word from the men down south.

So again the usual suspects .

Who knows where we will travel :woohoo:

    Hi Polly,

    A big effort,
Hope the bikes OK, the ribs will mend
It must of been some hit :pinch: it highlights why its risky to ride solo.

Good luck with your recovery, I dont think it will be much fun.

O yeah, Thank for the bed on south coast ride……

    Cheers Gordon

I said it early but :woohoo:

A big thanks for the Sunday ride to Buzz for getting back in the saddle to lead the small but keen group and Aaron for sweeping. The pace was great we had Buzz stretched and sometimes we did travel a bit to close with no allowance for urgent stops .. due to the Buzz’s unscheduled brief lay downs.
:pinch: At one such stop I found Sam and Sherco just able to pull up with me doing a front wheel mono on grass, finshed with a small lie down…. in a small hole :S Didn’t touch the Sherco ( Matt) but it was very close :silly:
A bloody great ride, had everything , including me spinning down one of your hills.
who knew red clay, granite stones, a steep slope mixed with rain water and speed could be a problem

    not me 😆
    Saturday was a great day
Sunday was the next step up.. 👿

it was a perfect way to finish up Cheers GORDO

in reply to: Happy Birthday Ollie #260307

    HAPPY birthday Ollie, :woohoo:

7 months a long time… away. May be you can get a water scooter to play on…..

hopefully the state forests will still be here when you get back. :pinch:

    See ya then
