check the link above for $135 this looks a good deal, if you need more armour than this Id go for the 44 gallon drum
snowy09 me old,
I have had a set of Dainese Body armour for a lot of years and Paid $450.00.New. These were the best gear at the time and extremly comfortable. Also the cheap brands were not around then. They have held my body together countless times and through a few big crashes as well. I once slid down the road with my XR400 on top of me after hitting a roo at 100Km/Hr and didn’t have a scratch where this body armour protected me. The cheap knee guards didn’t hold up though. This gear is getting old though and needs replacing, There are some new ones out from Accerbis that look good also. I think Fracers at Newcastle have them or the MX1 site.
http://www.mx1australia.com.au/index.php/product-details/product/696Hey Jethro
Its really good mostly dirt road from Pt Plomer to Crescent Hd, I was up there a couple of weeks ago. I didnt do the 4wd track to Port from Plommer but a couple of people said it was a bit rough in their 4WD. so it will be perfect for bikes. You can also go along the beach, and also Maria River Rd as well back to Port which is good dirt all the way from near Crescent Hd.
Losta Lotsa
I will meet you there, wherever, when I see what time I can scram from work.
Here are some suggestions of camps* MacLean’s Lookout near Hunter lookout at North end of Watagans
* The end of Rope Rd (don’t take the turn down to the gate)
* Somewhere along the Yengo run
* Mogo? I think near the start of the run down to St Albans
* On the flats going down to st Albans, not sure if you are allowed to camp there
* & in Joes back yard,( after we ride round the block a couple of times)http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/nationalparks/parkCamping.aspx?id=N0068
Well we are dropping like flys.
Sorry guys, Im out and will have to postpone this ride for a later date.
Hey guys, thanks for another great day out.
Its nice to ride somewhare a little different & the group flowed together nicely. That first down hill goes for ages with plenty of ruts and rocks to keep you on your toes. The views were awsome from the cilffs. We tryed to start the old commodore but I think the fuel might have gone off or it may have been the melted carby or something. It was getting warm towards the end so the beer and burger at Kearsley were a treat.
Havnt been on the 450 much lately, so it was good to blow the cobwebs out. What a good bike it has soo much omph compared to the adventure bike.
Had a ballCheers Gav
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Ill be there man:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Would be best to call them first.I once riped the glass out of an Xr headlight and cut a clear lexan one, which was glued on with sillastic.
it worked fine.Nice pair, Thought I was seeing doubble
The KTM had to take over when the going got too rough for the XR, TB. You cant doubble in on your own as the conditions were rugged. Wayne did well to hold on and there was quite a few moments. The seats on these things are not built for two. The best bit was riding out and then racing Joe handlebar to handlebar on the crossings.
Just added the pic of Wayne Mannor
G’day Losta Lotsa,
Keen as for Sunday, pulled the 450 out of moth balls and its rip roaring ready to go. times are set and Joe will be swinging by early.
This country looks pretty rugged. It will be good to see some more new country side.Gav
Hay TB I might tag along with Mickp & Lotsa with the trailer & 4×4, only kidding, put me down as well please.
Thanks GavbAfter watching sutto on the sofala ride and riding Mickp’s, this seems like a bike that would suit his purpose well.
I still think it is one of the most ugly bikes around at the moment. But will probably be my next bike as well. :woohoo: -
