Thanks Mal for putting together the weekend. It’s been a while however i had a ball on both morning and afternoon rides. I need to stop asking if there are any more hills like the last as it seems there is no straight answer and next thing your heading up or down some narly hill! Had a ball wet or dry didn’t matter was great to meet some new & old bulls. Thanks boys.

I have a willys jeep which has been restored close to it’s original self. For the last few years we get a couple of Diggers that have a bit of trouble walking, sqeeze them in the back and cruze the parade the old guys love it.

L C not sure how long since you have been there, they have tried to close a lot of the single track stuff out there. You can still get to a lot of it but if the ranger is out there he is on a bit of a power trip. Watch out. Ghostrider.

To evryone thanks for a great weekend, TB,crash for showing us the way, chop for the support, boulder for allways being there at the back to lend a hand.

I was talking to a friend of mine who went ouy riding last sunday with a few mates, he has only recently bought a bike and keen to ride. within 10 mins of their ride he was left behind not knowing which way to go at a fork in the road! He knew the area a little and rode around for a while before going home without seeing anyone else.

I just thought i’d share that story as it never would happen on a OB ride, and it is a comfort for riders like me who aren’t up the front to know that no one is concearned about the speed you ride, there is help either advice or muscle whenever needed, or whatever the obsticle, and boulder is always there! making sure you are not left behind.

Thanks again for the Dirty/Wet weekend look forward to many more!!!

    D40 ST-X, 2.5ltr Diesel, approx 550klms – 60ltrs. However it’s an auto i’ve heard the 6 speed manuals are getting up around the 600 – 650klms to60ltrs.

I have done some looking into the hilux v’s Navara. The hilux is a hard truck to beat in any arena, however i got the navara for a few reasons, The ride is a whole lot more comfortable during normal driving, the tie downs in the rear of the Navara are fasntastic & strong, the back seat folds up and i can get a heap of gear in there. I have had my klx 450 + Crash’s tractor in the back with no problem. Just my penny’s worth good luck hunting!:)

Trailboss, was talking to Glen today and checking out the bikes that are going, 2 trucks, 2 trailers something like 14 or 17 bikes. He also has a crf 450x for sale at the moment which you will see tomorrow sounds like a good deal for someone!
