Thanks menace for picking that rut, it showed the rest of us where not to ride. My Mr Burns arms would not have dragged my XR out of that rut.
That image you described makes me want to go without food for the day. Thanks alot Menace:kiss:
Excuse the french, but it was was a f#####g waste of time going to Sydney to meet the new owners of the business. But hey, its not ever day you get the chance to get out of bed at 5.30am and drive 2 hours to Melbourne, be used as a test dummy for a qantas pilot just learning how to land planes. At least i got the chance to buy 2 dozen Krispy Kreme dog nuts from the airport.
Now with no job i have the chance to become a pro factory rider (any takers).:woohoo:Whats the chances of tagging along for this ride, does’nt look like work will be a problem for a while.
Hi Adrian,
I got a V3 helmet last year, they are good. I used to work at a local dealer and over the years tried on different helmets and found the fox to be very comfortable ( the price is not the best ), but you get what you pay for.:cheer:Looks like you guys had fun.
Robbie Maddison must be getting scared after seeing Mennace get some huge air in the photo.
For your records JAK i have posted the video on youtube of you reving the rings out of your old XR climbing the hill at big hill.:unsure:Yeah, that jump over the mine shaft, nearly as much air time as Michael Jackson is getting now.:silly:
Well you would have loved the spot we left from. It was about 100 meters from the local gun range, just around the tree is the free range archery club that backs onto the old army depot. A couple of times i have ridden down my favourite trail and they had there flags out. You sh#t yourself when you see they have these large hay bales that they shoot at about 50 meters off the track.
Im only new here and a bit behind the times, but that stuff with squirrel, is it for real or you guys stuffing around?
Sweet looking rims. Do you have a tyre fitting machine or did you fit the tyres with levers. I would have been concerned you would scratch them. They look too good to put on a bike.
You forgot to mention we came upon a picnic area with about 20 cars parked there. Up against a tree was the smallest sign sign known to man that said there was a fox cull going on in the area. At the base of the sign there was a pile of about 10 dead foxes. Not sure about you but for the next 10 mins i rode with my head down, butt clenched waiting for a gun shot to fly over my head. Going over the hills at Mt Sugarloaf there is quite a few open mine shafts on the side of the track. After a bit of encouragment i got JAK to attempt to jump one. All he posted was the shot of him going up the ramp.:woohoo:
Thanks for the offer, i am happy with my bike, thanks.
Can i get my share in Beam cans, please. 👿P-Dub sorry to see you leave the brotherhood of XR.:silly:
Alright you win this round. Round two will have to be between the KTM and the Honda on the snow covered trails:woohoo:
Hey go easy on the Hondas, without them how would we get our mail delivered
