Did someone mention the Maddening. Lol
    I’m in !!

in reply to: Mad Monday #221789

 Haha, I was hoping that would of went unnoticed.

Anyway, we all regrouped and the decision was made to head back to camp for lunch, Galey was leading so he took off and I thought I’ll have a run with him. 👿

We were on a fire trail and the finely tuned 300 was in warp speed and coming into a corner, I couldn’t pull it up in time. It was like it was in slow motion I thought if I turned bars to go around the corner ( Mals suggestion ) ;) the back end will be all over the place, there was a bit of a drop off and the bike came to a stop just over the edge of the hill.

So I’m trying to pull the mighty 300 back onto the fire trail and Mal gave me a hand while having a good old laugh ( thanks buddy )

I turned around thinking that only Mal was there , but the whole group was watching on ( how embarrassment  )

Happy Birthday buddy , awesome trails yesterday.

Another Mad Monday in the Sunny Corner Loam went down a treat !

The fresh 1 degree in temperature didn’t seem all that bad, the sun was out and no wind. It was great to catch up with old and new faces.

Galeys  BBQ lunch  in the back of his trailer hit the spot.

As usual the trails were awesome, I do suggest that you have decent tyres if your in Galeys  group for the Birthday Ride, the ground gets slippery with some sections  of clay and the typical loose loam of Sunny Corner. ( makes life soooo much easier )

Galey and Mal thanks for leading and sweeping, top job as always.

Ok, I’m in for the Monday ride, top end rebuilt, all I need to do is get a new tyre ( for the Ball Breaker, i mean The Maddening ) and run it in.

    See you Monday. 👿

Clarky wants one all right , it’s just that’s he bagged them for so long he would worry about what other people think. I recon if Clarky changed his name and identity so no one would recognize him, he would be a 2 stroker for sure. Lol

3.00 in the morning, can’t sleep.

The mighty 300 is in pieces, I’ll put the topend back together this week , then I need to run it in.
I wouldn’t mind jumping in on the Clarence ride on the Sunday, Galey you doing that one ???

As for the Monday I’ll let you know as we get closer.

Shit, plus I need a new rear tyre for the Maddening :S

Put me down please. Last years was awesome.

in reply to: Hatto’s Moist,Tight and Warm Sth Coast Ride. #218395

    Lads,

A big thanks Hatto & Pauly ;) and it was great to catch up with old and new faces, no doubt we will meet up on future rides.

It’s funny, when i go for a decent ride i seem to come home feeling all busted up and boy was i feeling it on the way home. My knees were red raw from the rubbing of my knee guards so in future i will be wearing long socks that go above the knee, then all the aches began to kick in. Old age is a bitch

Awesome mixture of tracks, slippery at times, the 300 loved every miniute of it and I had a ball.

When we pulled up the top of Prozac and Hatto said take it easy on the way down, I thought shit this will be interesting, the switchback track on the edge off a cliff, and im thinking don’t screw this up cause its gonna hurt, but everyone got through without any issues. The hill climb on the way out was awesome. :) thank God for the Rekluse.

    Top pics and vids Lads.

Catch up with you guys in the not so long future..

    Cheers GOCMAN

Galey you’re a machine’, you love those virgin hills.

Another great ride with great company.

Well there is no sob story  but im always up for a challenge. :) I must admit I was about half way up the mountain ( Maddening ) and Im thinking, there is no end to this track, weaving in and out, dodging fallen trees. But once Maddening had been ridden in it will be perfect. The last 50metres there is a long straight section, straight up. You need a run up because the higher you get the steeper it is.

The weather was perfect, no dust. Hanging for the next ride on the virgin hills.

Thanks Galey for putting on the ride / leading
