me and my brother lc4skin live in the gong only an hour up from nowra and i work in sydney. when are you planning on getting it? and will it fit in the back of a station wagon? may be able to organise something. i work at redfern but it isnt too much to ask for me to go a bit further if needed.
hey moto was it an xr that won?
your a clever dick arent you bob
i bought a suzuki gsx 250 across, 97 model 2700 with a helmet and gloves and 6 months rego. i rode it to work on thursday night and it does the job good, much better in the traffic then a car. i think i was at the front of every red light cause you can just split through the cars
test rode a suzuki gsx250f across today, cheap and seem like they would do the job. sounds like your riding really fast cause the little suckers rev to 16500rpm, gonna test ride a zzr tomorrow and compare them and choose from those two i spose, will look into the yamaha too dan. Moto i reckon i could probably handle a posties power, but i dont think 80ks flat out will do the job, and after more research im not going to go for a 2 stroke anyway but thnks for your keen insight all the same
yes, looks like i need to go for a larger main jet but maybe not that big as i only have the stock exhaust, maybe a 160 or 155. thanks for the info mate
forced induction… and intercooled, although it sounds like one of those electric superchargers you can buy off ebay
well i got up a couple of hundred but had to work last night so i couldnt enjoy it, but as of today im off for 4days so i will enjoyed it from now till sunday
No worries Mal, I don’t think I can do it again next year as I don’t think I wont have the bike fitness and speed back by then.
you dont need the speed to beat the only 650 that was in it this year remember tb
the maintenance wasnt an issue for moto anyway… he never did any
awesome mate, you would have been hammering past us all with that light in action. nah i really think it looks good, will race you again at the next nundle ride hey?
E1 250? and E2 450?
i just put on the pivot pegs that lc4skin won for me at louee. only ridden up and down the street but jeez they really are different, its like riding an auto, i back off and change down a gear automatically… i have been told it doesnt take long to get used to though and i may have to play around with lever heights and stuff too
hey boony i dont reckon i would even be able to ride your bike to its full potential never mind mine, but it is a lot of fun having the power there so go for it, i know an aftermarket pipe and rejetting on my crf 250 made a shit load of difference in power and torque, but it gets expensive especially when you start looking at full systems
didnt you even see me pasted you?
