has anyone else noticed that in all the photos of the poker run with boony in front he had a traffic jam behind him?
shouldnt you be working or something bob
i was told by greg ball, a very reputable engineer with a lot of experience with crfs, not to put stainless valves in the 250 as it robs a noticeable amount of power from the motor. just putting an after market pipe with the right jetting and a couple of teeth up on the rear makes a really big difference.
i think entrant number 86 has signed up for the wrong race. his name is Go Kondo
we had another tsunami warning about 2 or 3 years ago and i went to go to a local chicken shop for some lunch and it was shut up with a sign on the door saying “closed due to tsunami warning”. i found it kinda funny considering that tsunami had the same outcome as this one.
if you get over the paying for them side of things you can go to generally any camping or outdoors shop and get a topographical map, not too expensive and its yours. got fire road names on them too
hey tb there is plenty to look at on the road… a lot of tights holding worthwhile posessions
you might as well put a 13 tooth one on it, unless you have a bigger then standard one on the back
you can make that relative dad, i dont have a photocopier in my “office”
yeah i just rebuilt the head and off loaded the bike and bought a new klx 450 instead. expensive business replacing the valves and redoing the seats every six months
Did you have any trouble with the crf 250 04 model? i had an 06 and had to rebuild the head after 5500kms and heard that the 04-05 models were even worse on valves?
vman i am keen as to go but i have to work that weekend sorry mate, my brother LC4skin might still go. we probably rode a lot of the tracks you are talking about last weekend and it was awesome. maybe another 2 weekends after that i wouldnt mind heading back down as thats when i get weekends off work again for a few weeks

hey gco had the same issue coming down macquarie pass yesterday except we were in the car and the slowpoke was a bike. on L’s and in the rain, i reckon he was the one hitting first gear and making everyone else follow suit. at least he was consistent though, we got passed him/her on the straight at the bottom.
