Try telling me that H
I always have both feet of the pegs one or two hand off the handle bars at a time… most of the time im laying next to the bike looking at it..

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and I know personally sometimes it doesn’t seem real bright.

– The hand off the handlebars is an interesting one as from reports the guy in Qld clearly got fined but in NSW the road rules stipulate that a rider must have one hand on the handlebars at all times, ergo then he/she can have one hand off the handlebar. But in saying that I was stopped and chatted a number of years back by a copper who stopped me after I removed one hand to signal/ask him if I should turn around at a road stop (the copper was parked across the road so I assumed road closed – it was and then signalled). The copper made a point of stating ‘next time I will do you mate, never take both hands of the bars as we are sick of picking you jokers up’ (this occurred at the base of Macquarie Pass on the weekend of a bike fatality so let him have his frustration). I did check it with the MCC (was a delegate there at the time) and was told BS, one hand only required (else some one armed riders could not legally ride)
– The foot of the pegs did happen as you say but from follow up media there is more to happen as the Police Commissioner stated that he did remove a foot when riding his bike, and the day after a picture was published of a police officer doing the same. That one seems to be an asshole or overzealous power tripper who needed to up his quota (same as the guy that booked the car window open)
Having just got my bike licence here in qld through QRide I was told by law I must have two hands on the bars at all times and both feet on the pegs while in motion unless stopping the vehicle and only then it’s left leg down with right leg still on the peg in case I have to move off quickly
Happy birthday NATO
I didn’t know that I just mainly stuck to the main bits just to get an idea when I got home for google earth to find out the boundaries, apparently you can end up in the firing range and not even know it.
would be good to go with a couple of blokes for a day and have a poke around.I just stuck the bike on the trailer and planted it up some fire trail away from everything.
