Sorry Sb
I have checked this site out already and have been in contact with them.
1 of the reasons we decided to try and get a tour ride was so that everybody could just ride and enjoy it with very little worries or organising. Not having to worry about lead/sweep/route etc means that all riders can do just that – get out there and have some fun.cheers hatto

Hey Bob
Only ridden down there once, and you’re right, not much single, but very good to open up 450 ponies of orange bliss, unless stopped fixing blues (ooooo thats gotta hurt)    sorry mate, couldn’t resisthatto
Hi all
Sorry for not having any info on this ride, there has been a few things going on which have only just been able to get replies. As a starting point, we fell short of the numbers required for this ride to go ahead, I put some things forward to the tour operator (in relation to your feedback)and had a few emails too and fro but things just didn’t stack up for us so I halted proceedings.
I then approached a different tour operator which would have been very similar, numbers were tight(16-18 seem to be the magic number) and availability for that period in November could not be achieved.
So at this stage this ride will not be going ahead in November.
I have had some discussions with TB and have started to do some ground work for a High Country Ride next year March/April – As you can appreciate, this is a long way in advance and hard to lock in, but I am trying to make this an event which is both cost effective(value for money)and worth the effort by everyone considering the distances to travel
I think I will start a new thread and put this one to bed so that there is no confusion.
Please think about next year and the major events which may conflict with a ride around March/April, so that we don’t organise over top of one.
I saw the link Menace, so will investigate.
Sorry for this situation guys, but hopefully we will get there in the end
cheers Hatto

Hi Bruce
I just had a mate buy a thumpster hydraulic clutch complete $80- and fitted it to his husky 2 banger with good resultscheers hatto
Great read guys
Me, I won’t be changing from my PDS, my 450 far outweighs my ability, I love the thing every time I go riding, I will never use it to it’s full potential and doubt that there are many who do. PDS, no PDS, we all get a kick in the arse from time to time and when I do, I don’t think it’s the PDS, I think it’s the terrain, i am after all riding in the bush and thats what it’s all about for me. Every time I get back from a ride i have a grin from ear to ear, whether riding with PDS or without.

Stick with the kato unit, 06-07 are the last of the bulletproof rfs motor – set the static and rider sag correctly, put just a little free play in the throttle and enjoy. I found it took a little to get used to but now would not swap for anything(maybe a berg) You can be lazy, on it, reserved or tapped – it will do it all
cheers Hatto
