What can I say, great weekend, great to meet so many good people, a weekend which had a few minor setbacks but came through with shining colours. Bit jaded today, didn’t get home till almost eleven, but it was thoroughly worth it. I must mention 1 thing, there was one person who really enjoys outdoor living so much so that he sleeps on a piece of 15mm thick foam,(set on the rocky ground) a pillow and Kmart sleeping bag :P – took him 20 mins to get into his bag (whats doing)and took a swim in some very cold water at 7.00am :S (STM- swags are only a couple hundred bucks and will last a lifetime)

    more to come

Global warming? I like the idea. Cant wait to catch Barramundi in the Hastings.

I read an interesting take on rising sea levels a while back, they suggested that the rising levels are from the displacement caused by all the boats now days, as there are a lot more boats than there was 100 years ago when they are comparing measurments with.I do believe this was said in jest though.

what about all the exploration that is going on in the arctic circles!!!!

the ice breakers take in and out people and equipment. the ice then floats away and melts.

so who exactly is causing the polar ice depletion and therefor the sea levels to change ?!?!!?    :S

    >> necessity is the mother of invention. breakage is the father of necessity << book of drewpy 1:1

I have a little storey for this one xy
My young fella had to do an experiment at school for global warming, If you put ice into a glass of water and mark the level, then when the ice melts mark the level again, the second line is actually below the first, so the water level actually dropped not rose, but if you fill the glass with water and mark the spot and let the ice melt into it, the water rose in the glass. Conclusion was that the ice bergs aren’t the problem when they melt, but the ice on the land when it melts would be

    Welcome back by the way

Well, after two years of logging onto Old Bulls, keeping an eye on things and joining the banter during the day. Some snivelling, deadshit, cock headed IT dude that looks over our companies server, in a pitiful attempt to warrant their position, has decided that OBT should be a prohibited site on our server, and subsequently has locked me out.

I could take this decision on the chin if I wasn’t hitting my targets etc. OBT is what has made my shitty job bearable over the last two years. So at this stage they can get fucked!!! I am now on a go slow campaign and can be most likely be found in the nearest park reading a book or the likes.

So untill OBT’s IT department can come up with a solution to get around this, my presence on OBT during the day will be limited to my lunch break when I can go home and log in.

    ARSEHOLES!!!

Maybe be carefull what you say incase they are monitoring

I had a serious talk with my boss about this and realized that talking to yourself won’t get you anywhere :P :P
