Yeah Ollie I can see where you are coming from, anytime someone looks to buy the property I should ride up and down the fence with the pipe off the XR.

Top spot for sure, it will be a sad day when Phil sells it. :(

Why is he selling, how much land and how much does he want for it

    Hi Bol
Glad you had a good w/end in the backyard, told you there was good riding down here. Marty sure is quick down hills – so you met dave, did you go past his property
    Cant wait for vids

    Ps Great report –

Marty’s not bad on the up hills either, or the flat for that matter. Pulled up outside Dave’s gate. Dave goes well too. Was a bit slow on Day 3 for some reason. I think he was getting pins and needles in his hands.

We have camped at Daves a bit, great place on the creek, thats where heffo runs his trail skills days from

But Boony if you dont do it yourself you cant criticize, years ago I once changed a tyre at home and then went riding down in Hatto’s territory got a rear flat, couldnt find my 2nd lever, bloke turns up use his levers and guess what I found in the back tyre. Yup my 2nd lever

had a good long think about the initial question,Which OBT’er would you like to meet/ride with? How do you put that gauging from every other old bull I have met,(thats a few now) I really dont have just one person I recon would be good to ride with or meet, rather I enjoy the anticipation of meeting new old bulls when I travel to organised rides.
That is what keeps my old bull spirit high and my keeness for rides fueled.

The best place on these rides (bar the trails) is the ever growing Old bulls ring of knowledge..(they are an expierence on their own.

+1, Cant wait to sit around your/old bulls ring of knowledge so I can become very learned

Yeah you sit with us and watch Ollie change a tyre,,very, very, very entertaining.

Maybe I’ll get some pointers. I can change a tyre ;) but you will need a packed lunch

I have been using Oakley O frames for the last three years. I pretty well only put them on when I enter into” Lantana land”, as a wipe across the lens of your eye from Lantana stings like a biatch. TB is always up me about eye protection and I have been wearing them on my eyes as opposed to the front of my helmet a bit more as of late. Sometimes it is all but impossible to wear goggles in misty humid weather though.I fine mist when the trails are still dusty puts goggles out of commission quick though.

I haven’t tried safety goggles yet, so I might give them a go on the next wet day.

Mick, putting goggles as in picture would be scratching inside of lens as it rubs on helmet, also puts shit on the inside from muck on helmet, Will fog imediately because you breath straight into goggles – get a quick strap from Sutto’s they work a treat

IMO goggles are a must have Item, to dangerous without.
Double lens are great for rain as previously posted, Safety glasses for real bad rain.

Ring Mal from Sutto’s and get a quick strap – best thing and if fogging up you can undo, hold for a couple seconds and redo back up without stopping – all clear.
