The reason I asked this question is that I am thinking of buying an outboard motor from Nowra south and I need someway to get it to Sydney so we can pick it up from there. Or the name of a transport company from down that way would do.
Any ideas how I can get the motor to Sydney?

    Hi mick
I work at south nowra, I can pick it up for you anytime. Where are you getting it from. I will be prob coming to syd next week for work so I can take anywhere you would like it dropped. I will be going to mossman, kurrajong heights, anywhere in between, and of course will call in at sutto,s so if I can help out just let me know.

I’ve never seen the MSR ones TB, and as a rule it’s a fairly decent brand.

I’ve got to say tho’ the Bullpitt ones I’m using now are very cool in use and comfortable as they have stretch panels in all the right places.

    BC

Never heard of them, but just looked them up- they are cheep

I wear over pants as its a little easier with knee braces I find then trying to stuff a knee brace and pants into your boot. I think they add extra protection for the tops of your boots, your boots stay cleaner and drier I think.

Plus over pants are more enduro they have pockets etc where the in boot pants are more motorcross I think

    TB

Not too fussed about keeping boots clean, but I do think overs were cooler than my in boot ones.

Off thread – big storm just hit down here thunder lightning rain, could make for good riding on sat

Overboot type have the advantage with pockets and look like they’ll keep your boots cleaner. Most I’ve seen seem to be thick though, which would surely make you hotter?

Duffman recommended crotchless pants for TB and seems to be loving them…..soooooo……maybe that’s the go?

I wear MX style for the record.

I’m with Moto on this overpants look and feel weird to me and tend to get caught in the undergrowth sometimes where i ride, plus they remind me of “bootsavers” which was a standing joke for years, plus pockets are for carrying stuff, which is what my backpack/camelback is all about, and i hate hitting the ground with stuff in my pockets.

    BC

MX style lightweight is the go for I.

With you on that one about hitting the ground, ended up with a good bruise from keys once, got out the car and put them in out of habbit, lets just say -good lesson learned.

Moto Moto Moto 18 months is a long time for a pair of pants have you tried the over pants young man. I used to use MX style pants but after 34 years switched to the over style for many a reason, you should try before you buy

The over pants I have are MSR, they are thinner then all the MX pants I compared them with before I purchased them and after nearly two year have no tears in them and I would argue are cooler as they aren’t as tight around your legs like those that are stuffed into you boots thus stopping air flow. Chicked purchased a set of over pants from Mal at Sutto’s brand unknown but he is super impressed by them I can find out more if you wish. Thats from my experience good luck with whatever you purchase hatto

    TB

Thanks Tb that would be good, I will be up sutto’s way next week and will of course call in and prob walk out lighter in the wallet. Shhhhhh don’t tell the misses.

An Asian woman goes in to her local ANZ Branch and begins exchanging her money.

After the transaction is complete she asks the teller ‘Why it change, yesterday I get two hunat dollar for my money, today I only get hunat eighty?’

The teller looked over his glasses and says very slowly….’fluctuations’.

The Asian woman narrows her eyes and says, ‘fluck you Aussies

yeah that really pisses me off. What i did find is that the kx are made from a different plastic to the oem’s and they haven’t broken as easily. i went through 2 oem sets in 1 year then had the kx ones for 2.5 yrs. As long as you are up and running all is good
