    Great reports boys B)

Another great weekend out riding with OTB

First of all would like to thank TB and Mal for putting the ride together and organizing all the minor details which are what makes the rides go smoothly. ;)

Got to give it up to the support crew Bubba ,Tiny and Lotsa
all the sweeps, too many to name the cameramen floating through the pack and the rest of the riders for making it such a good weekend .

Thanks to all the sponsors Jack Links,Suttos,Muckoff,Whippys,Pivot pegs and a special thanks to Mud n Tar from Wauchope for the tyres as i am the lucky winner :cheer: :cheer: :) :)

Some of the memorable moments for me in no particular were

#Watching all the bikes roll out, awesome sight
#The pace of some of the riders in the fog :woohoo:
#Jason riding in a slopyjoe and Tshirt. They breed them tuff in Dubbo.
#The quality of riders when the going got trickier. :)
#How well it all went at the servo like a Swiss watch :)
#Unfortunately Krams off good to hear all is well mate and hope you have a speedy recovery. ;)
#Catching up with some old faces and meeting some new ones when holding the corners.
#Katgirl ditching the boat anchor to go riding and camping with 40 odd blokes :woohoo:
#All the yarns around the campfire.
#The young fella’s hitting the sack once the street lights come on.
#Benji bringing that log in over his shoulder 😆
#Leaving nothing but a memory at the campsite
#The carnage on some of the hills
#Chicken down to his rear guard in the swamp and in total contrl :woohoo: :woohoo:
#Muckoff being filled in by LC’s Kato 😆
#Fish finishing the ride up and down some snotty hills with a shattered finger
    #Justo’s 1hr tyre change
#Someone buying more jerky at Capertee
#Sutto riding his bike home

Im sure there are more but i cant type and think at the same time.

Cheers to all involved and bring on the next one :) ;) B)

I got towed a long time ago by an experienced bush rider. One end of a thin piece of rope was tied to the back of his bike followed a meter later by an old tube and then another length of rope. the rope at my end was put around the triple clamp (not tied) and then up to the grips where it was held onto. Any problems you just let go of the rope. Hope that makes sense.

Did a trial skills day where they showed you all the stuff you need to carry, first aid, spares, different techniques ect…. and one of the things when all else fails was towing. We were shown a couple ways and the pitfalls but the good old inch wide strap about 3m long tied to the back of the towing bike and like jak said above was by far the safest way. The strap can be used for so many things in an emergency its mind blowing and once its rolled up takes up hardly any space at all.

    Know that hole ;)
Lucky for us we were travelling in the other direction, thus using the little pile of sticks as a jump :woohoo:
Nasty hole though as it is a quick part of track
    Glad no one was hurt
    Cheers
    Murph

Thats what makes it so funny  we were going the same way but one of the guys thought he would just roll over it and just dissapeared like he rode of a cliff or something
What was even funnier was his brother giving him the logic speech
went somewhere along the lines if you see a pile of sticks stacked up with soil shoveled up against them in the middle of a trail it would be a good idea to jump it rather than roll over it  :silly:
All is well that ends well :)

Got my pegs late yesterday and took all of 15mins to fit even though i spent almost 10 mins looking for a suitable set of pliers .
Now all i got to do is take them out to the paddock and get them dirty so they match the rest of the bike , easier than having to clean the bike :woohoo: .

Thanks to the staff at Battyes and to Tony for organizing it all :).

    cheers
