Mate i think your in for a rude shock
The socks i bought from Ballards were 20 bucks 4 three of them.
They are reuseable just treat them like your filter give em a wash re-oil and away you go. The filter itself is pretty and clean.
I’m sold i will be using them all the time now, Iwish you could see the photos:angry:

    Bloody computers

    Hey guys’

I can’t believe when i logged on how much has been posted and the quality of the reports, great work guys. (At least you guys didn’t wear out you school shoes for nothing.)

What a great w/end, only signed up aweek ago or there abouts and TB invites me for a ride with the Bulls . Meeting the guys in the carpark for the first time everbody made me feel so welcome, I thought to myself im in for one hell of a w/end.
In no particular order these are some of my stand outs
    #The punctuality of the group
    # The military precision and time the group got ready all got ready
#TB’s morning mass before we headed out.
    # The bloody dust and the lack of visibility leaving the carpark
    # Eagles disipline to hold back and help the sweeps
    # The great pace that the group moved at
    # White rockets 1/2 brick rapidfire KTM
    # TB/s mucsleflex up one of the narrow hillclimbs
    # Boulders well trained tyre levers ( my rear tube was out before i could get my backpack off)
    # Chops attention to detail and lack of lighters
    # The grin on Mooses face once the cigi smoke cleared
    # All the anchor marks heading off the trails
    # Eagle almost landing a 180 up a rocky hillclimb
    # Great views along the way , loved the rolling hills thru the private properties.
    # Releif that i guessed right thru some dust clouds
    # Queing up for fuel
    # The first couple beers at Sofala
    # Racy Tracys embarrasing persperation marks (Moto do all the women react like that 4 u???)
    # The swim in the river
    # Chops knack knack over the finish line
    # Tiny’s detailed inspection of the bitumen mix infront of the pub and his solo ride back.
    # Waiting to fall thru the floor boards in the pub
    # Being jealous of the guys attempting to finish their Barney Rubble tbones
    # The training wheels fixed 2 tinys husky
    # Having to choose between the mozzi’s or cooking to death
    # The shiny spare bike delivered by Sellina 4 TB (didn’t know it was Crashs)
    # The skyjump that lands you on the road (along the service rd )
    # Everybody shuffling behind the tree when the quad ridinr farmer took his camera out.
    # My geological servey on the offcamber downhill
    # ECKS looking cleaner than he did before we left
    # The support crew popping up along the way making sure Chicken has everthing under control
    # Scotties sigle trail and line run at the end. (Good work mate)
    # Boulder leaving his bike in the next postcode so he could clutch it
    # The rider behind me (in line waiting for a crack at the washout) sayind “whose farkin idea was this” and it sounded like he meant it
    # Chickens handshake (good grip for a chook)
    # The 50km/ph drive down the Bells only to find it was Boulder holding us up

Thanks have got to go to Tracy and Moto for the support, Tracy and Sellina for their help at breky, fellow Bulls for welcoming me on my first outting with you blokes too mant to mention great crew. Props for Boulder,Tiny,Champo for sweeping and TB and Chicken for leading

Special mention for TB on a well planned trip having all corners covered solid work.

    Bring on Warchope

PS. Have about 5mins of video footage on my phone is there an easy way to post it???

in reply to: Feeding vents to airbox #119235

No pumps required just get in the missionary possi when no one is looking

in reply to: Feeding vents to airbox #119231

Ballards actually have a kit for this very purpose with a little washable filter thats fixed in the airbox

in reply to: Feeding vents to airbox #119220

    Jobs done,

There is a Tpiece on each side of the carby which have 2 vent hoses so i’ve turned the T piece vertical and fed the top hose into the airbox and the other left as is. Any excess fuel shuold flow down with no backcarge from the opposing hose hopefully. The bottom hose can be submergedand the carbie will breathe thru the top one i guess.

Took yor advise Moto and left the a wee bit longer in the airbox. This way i can keep a eye on it as i look in the box more than under the frame.

    Bring on deep water

    Thanks again guys,
I have looked up the Fair Dinkum Trailbike Tours page like Husky610 suggested and there is a great little article on waterproofing the Kehien FCR carbies. It works for WR’s KTM’s and the DRZ and only takes 15 mins. I would cut and paste the article but have no idea how to do it. I am sure that other Bulls can benefit from it.

    busy venting
