Question: Ollie, it seems this is rather similar to working with fibreglass, as per stages to layering. Am I correct in assuming that?
Question: Considering the potential effects of the carbonm cloth, What form of Dust mask are you talking of? A:) pape filter,el cheapo ora cartridge type filter?
Question : What material does one use to make a mould from? and vaccuming, what kind of pressure? ( I assume that by applying vaccuum to a mould the top of sadi mould would need a seal and the vaccuum is to be applied from the bottom of the mould ? is that assumption correct?
Thanks for answering…( I am now assuming you ‘ll answer.)PS. I gather that making a cover for the swing arm is basically the same proccess?
Alls good, just didnt understand what you were saying. On that point, we no longer have a HUSKY dealer in town, so basically my warranty is not much use anyway. On that point, no warranty is worth the cost though. I voided mine in the first 10 hrs run time, by changing oils myself. the old shop was still good for replacing my airbox for me though, if I wanted it. On the brand part ollie, IMHO too many people get caught up in ” my bike your bike”. I dont follow racing of bikes mx sx or gp. My bike does what it was bought for. To give me TIME OUT. The size of the bike FITS ME. something ost 2t cant do. Its cheap to maintain, as I’m limited in confidence to work on my bike.( not ability, for most things.) Like many bikes, it has its good points and its bad. but at the end of the day, it performs the job i bought it for, lugging my fat guts around at a sensible pace to explore parts of this area i cant drive to. The hardest part to get over is the fact it’s ability far outweighs mine. The MAIN reason i have the HUSKY, Honda dont make NEW XR 600/650’s, kawasaki 6500 not capable, dr650 same. Drz 400 not enough ability/power. 450’s (any of em) to much bike. 250’s, to small for my hieght/weight. Wasnt left with much choice, the bike has held its own, I’M rapt. Never owned or ridden one prior. Wouldnt hesitate to buy another.
Again, thanks for the explaining..not all is as obvious to all.
G’day….welcome to the site

Ollie, I dont understand that? My bike cost me $11,700.00 new, warranty came with it, a crf 450 costs heaps more, 6 month warranty. Not being the Smartest on the planet, can you explain what you meant for in ” user pays “, for me please? My bikes now 18months old( app), omnly issue i had was the Airbox, they were happy to replace it for me, i just didnt see the sense of it. So in my case, the warranty hasnt been needed at all. It appears most bikes are similarly priced, accross the common 450 ranges…so i dont understand what your comment means??

nah, its good Shane. I only ever heard of the VOR when i got on this site..Owned an Ossa 250 trial sfor a while…it was hard enough to get parts for thanks. Never seen a pic of Feeney? Does he look as funny as ” Menace” with is EH blinds on?
Hmmmm, my understanding was that the new Husky Mxr’s had the Twin tube mazooks?? Oh well…maybe not, however, he who buys Husky can wallow in the Knowledge his 2 yr warranty lasts much longer than the Average 6 months handed out….by most Manufacturers these days.
Is this “Corey” look still big in Melb.? mate..they remind me of the back of an EH.
I’ve been wanting to buy another to go with the one TB gave…But the friggin shops been offline..All i get is “Stay Tuned”….jeez, it’s costing me heaps staying “Tuned”. Dont hurry up witht he SHop, i’ll have drunked the $’s and be back on the wagon for another 4-6 months….
Yeah..we have the same here with the pup and the boy.If they know their spot in teh family they’re great. Our boy has grown up witht eh pair of them..I wouldnt imagine anyone getting hold of him, or the bikes..I’m thinking the Bitch will step up more after the Pups…
Many years ago, like during my school holidays, I sometimes got to work with the oldman at a shipping Company in Nth Qld. One of the “special jobs was to go into the bilges and “slide about under the engines and tighten flanges, look for leaks . This boat had 3 cyl Diahatsu motors, I thought they were Huge?? It ghad a Torque wrench in one of the “Duck pella”( ?spelling of that) Room, It Was HUGE! I was left thinking it must be used in conjunction with the gantries. I could never imagine any one ever picking one up! TB..I LOVE the Pics. This kinda thing is awesome, IMHO!!
