When you ride a KTM, you sort of hold your breath in the hope it gets through the day, just like all other riders out for the day, Then you grin when it does get through, Just like other riders,.After a few beers you hang shit on your mates bikes, just like they are.

One thing for sure, it sure does look to have some stories there.. Top stuff for a campfire gathering with a few ales/rums.
Do Honda still make the 650 xr? There’s one getting around here, been for sale on and off for awhile. ( If they dont make them, they should re-make them, always thought them to be a decent solid bike.

I guess my point to all this is, I will happily get on my bike and go at it on a single trail..I WILL NOT get down the end of a cricket pitch and have someone Bowl a rock hard leather ball at me, when all I have is a 4″ wide stick to protect myself with.. I just cant do it, by the time i work out i have to hit it or get out the way, I have a huge bruise? I played league , squash as a kid and heaps of swinmming and bike riding,pushie and motor. How do others reckon they’d go facing an over from the likes of Shaun Tait? (156 kph) NOT this Black Duck.!MY bike is way tamer thanks.

Hey, I like the gaurd!! Gives the bike a LOOK OUT factor..As in , if following it..Look out!! Mick..what on earth happened to that Poor pipe? Looks like it’s been through a Riot?..Do all those “LIL” Scritches affect it at all..like power wise…not looks, they speak loudly for itself..

When you ride a KTM it pays to have Health insurance..for all those times you find yourself under said KTM.
When you ride a KTM, it pays to ensure those tubes hanging out the bottom of the bike are re run elsewhere, cause they’re a Biatch to start when they Slurp water up them

For those KTM riders here Peeved off with their PDS, have you looked into the little valve( to me looks like BIG carb screw) thingy that apparently makes it much better? Apparently it pays to have one in the system?( goes inside somepart of the shock absorber? sorry not tech wizz) The KTM riders I know ARE too superior to ride with me…As i cant keep up..but thats good, cause when they broke their legs..I didnt have to deal with it.

Mate,I have no idea what so ever?! Team green have all their set up available as a PDF for anyone interested. If my mammory serves correct they have all susp. settings from standard to race, in increments for different weight. I thinkl they even talk about different spring weights, and oil wieghts for forks too. I think i have the pdf on my PC somewhere as a mate of mine has same bike for his lad.. I rode an old XT500 in the ISA for 2 yrs…Abused it severely..very few filter cleans, and oil got done just before i sold it. Mind you, no racing, just plugging along most of the time..had CR250’s for hard running..Top bikes CR’s, pity the 2t are dead in the water now.
