anyone got any trade secrets about re-sticking stubborn sticker kits that wont stay put?
    glue??

My guess is the prep. wasn’t done right, if this is a replacement set your talking about. Once you find a suitable glue, the plastics need proper cleaning, then washed down with a neutral detergent. dried, then glued then re-applied. Is time consuming to get it right. in my experience, one best left for spec.’s to do.

My parents had big issues with home insurance (twice) with a policy underwritten by them.

Thanks for the heads up. I will look at going back to suncorp then. They had everything sorted inside of a week. Pitty the bike shop weren’t worth a pinch of Sh**. Have since decided by bike bussiness goes to new shop.

BTW if you can get one for your 610,I would also consider keeping the manual clutch lever, reason being if the throttle gets stuck on you need to disengage it in a hurry, this could be nasty going into the bush full throttle on a 610 and not being able to pull up,kill switches dont always work when the things are revving their tits off:woohoo:

    Ollie

Nah..its good, done that kind of gymnastics with nothing sticking other than brain failure to shut back?? LOL..this is a pig in tight stuff… done me some lessons on the art of Golliwogging through the bushes…. Best buy of year was pressure suit. serious note.. yeah i would have kept it..just in case… This bbie came with the deadliest set of tyres i’ve ever ridden on.. metz. MC Karroo’s.. front just loved getting out from under me..bloody thing. I wouldnt mind rear braking on the perch too, would get much better feel I think.?

Moto you just concentrate on riding down at dirt road first!

So if Badfun buys a rego’ed bike does that mean between KTM01 aka Ray, Badfun and Husky610, you QLD boys could get together and come down to Wauchope in March for a 3 day ride?

    TB

:woohoo: Where the hell is Wauchope? How far is it from bribane? How long is bike ride loop? Anywhere to park van/trailer? Room for 1 more? All this may have to wait for next one round..have $ accumulating for talon hubs/sm rims…..do priorities have to clash so hard???

So where’s the Diff. between 600 tenere, kle 650 etc? The Husky takes a decent load, there is all manner of bag gear for them, They even do ok on Both road and Trail. IMHO, having owned a few yammies for touring, I ‘d go the Husky 610 over it again and again. The ONLY thing the Tenere had over the Husky, parts and price, Air cooled. The Husky is a better machine allround otherwise. Stock trim my bike will sit 120kph loaded( me and gear 150kg) All day. You can even fit a screen if you want one. I ended up with mine due to the fact the local Yamaha sales man cant understand english/ego/pure moron who just couldnt get his head around the idea i didnt want a “race” bike. They had huskies on thet floor, i got catalogue of the idiot, drove 35mins away waslked into shop and bought the Husky. So this idiots blunt head cost them a sale and got me onto a better bike. IMHO. FWIW>the idiot just couldnt understand i didnt want a TTR250. I was asking if yamaha still made tenere style bikes, he wanted to sell TTR250, just couldnt get him off them. This bike(husky) is the only real Dual Sport/purpose bike, other than drz 400, that’s on the market. Motard kit available for 1500. 15min change over. A lady in the states gets around on the motard 610, goes all over the place( 14000ft up)rides somer pretty hard trails too. She be 5’1″. Has some pretty narly tyres on the thing but goes anywhere. Original quest? bike is in same catagory?
