I have the 610, would Love a 310 for some of the tighter stuff here. However, the 610 goes there now, just a bit slower is all. Still, the 310 is something of a winner, cause most others are now following suite and producing the ” In between” bikes. :)

Everything COSTS money to fix, everything breaks sooner or later. My Husky hasnt skipped a beat in the 2 yrs I’ve had it. Mate i ride with has an 04 510, it hasnt skipped a beat in the time Ive known him. Whats the cost of rebuilding a KTM, TM,Gasser,Yamaha, etc? My Advice…Go with whatever curls your toes. If your tall the ergos of the Husky will suit. How quick does F.I. fire up if you crack the battery? ( yes, i have cracked one) ..Just Curious?

1800k to far south for me lads so Ill pass. Looking at doing a CREB track ride between Daintree and Cooktown in the near future when it reopens and will post up results. Hopefully be able to get some video/photos and some new members up this way.

I heard the Creb was closed and may Not re-open? There used to be( still maybe) tracks from Kuranda to Port Douglas, Kuranda to Julatten, Julatten to Cooktown. Also from Kuranda to Mount Molloy throught the area they call Quaids. If your In Cairns, there were also runs from Redlynch up to Kuranda( rather hard run). Its been 20yrs since i was riding up that way, so its hard to know whats still open. If you get up to Ravenshoe, there is tracks around the Millstream area that are a Blast, actually there’re old Tin Mines along teh river from Herberton to Ravenshoe, these make for GOOD riding also. Enjoy . I miss my home town for the riding..nothing else but. ;)

Hmmm I didn’t think the MTB’s counted…I too have 1x Monngoose…but its in Paliative care…It’s suffered a near death experience, since i was on it at the time and suffered same NEAR death experience, i believe its only a good thing I KEEP forgetting where it is. :(

Top ride there, looks to be one hell of a run indeed. Enjoyed the Vids, like the Idea of the blue tooth hook ups. Looked to be some awesome fun. Too bad its so far away from here :(

I’m no genius on this but with my Husky, i leave the choke alone, turn on fuel, couple of twists of throttle, give it a few seconds to swallow it, hit the switch and it goes. My Mate with his Husaberg has nothing but drama’s trying to start( after hte lad he purchased it from told him not to touch throttle or itd flood), Couple of twists on the throttle it roars.? Go figure…Maybe it doesnt get cold as NSW here, we do get ice on the ground cold?? I’d try the throttle twist.. cant hurt.

I thought it was you in that truck..Too bad you kept going..i coulda bored you with my smuggness after going for ride… The Fraser idea is something I’m not keen on due to the extra wear on the bike…not to mention me. I had a mate over on Monday from Gayndah (the reason im searching for the old convict route to gayndah), he couldnt believe how much water waslying around.( drive past agian, i’ll be waqshing the bike..AGAIN) We’re trying to organise a ride at Manar park, overnight stay $5.00 if tenting or swag, not sure on a date as yet but I’ll drop a line to let any interested parties know. Manar Park is rather large, has many loops from 6 k’s to 100+ k loops. differing experience levels as well. If anyone on here is wanting to hook up in the MARYBOROUGH area you can email me at ” niknteen@westnet.com.au” as I’m not on here as often as i should be . Sirdropalot…my phone no. is the same as before, I’ve lost yours in the shift..along with many other things which have dropped out of sight(probably boxed in the shed still). ;)

People dumping their Rubbish in Forestry!! Sadly, we seem to have a band of UBER FK WITS who just cant see what they do is wrong. Too many places are becoming dumping grounds for wrecked cars, caravans and renovators throw aways. Wish i could gather it up and have it dumped in their front yards!
