Mr.Blue..seeing as you like your Dunlop 952 Soo much…i feel it is my obligation to offer you…a “Spare” Dunlop 952 with near 1000 k life left on it, to match the one you obvioulsy like so much…  ..I HATE buying tyres…yet seem to do it often for the rear of my 610. Currently I am undergoing “Fright therapy” with a near new “Dunlop 606″…I was toild it would offer some “fair Grip”….well to be fair..perhaps the “fair Grip” is relevent to some Fairly Gay Fairy…
How long before the Motards are available and do you have an idea of the price for them? (complete if possible please?))
We can get ’em at the pass!!!!

This looks Awesome!!
would I be dumb to suggest the magnetic pic up? if it were an older bike i’d lean toward the low rev coil going..seeing thats out..perhaps theres an issue with the pick up for the electrics.? my .02c worth??? ( maybe H2o is in present in this area?)

Quote:I’m thinking about updating the Sherco to a Husky 510. Any thoughts on the Huskys? The Sherco is still a great bike, but it has a few Kms on it now and I’m in the postion to be able to update. I like the huskys and they’re doing good deals on them.
One question for all the FI tech heads is the dealer told me they take the 02 sensor off the exhaust and change the map setting to the race setting and not having the 02 sensor doesn’t affect the engine’s mapping. Is this correct. What would be the consequences of me leaving the 02 sensor in the exhaust – the only one I can think of is that it would vibrate/rattle to pieces.
If you leave the sensor it’ll burnout
The place for ALL this tech on the Husky is http://www.cafehusky.com Its a Yank site but they know the bikes. From what I’ve been reading recently a couple of lads are working out how to make it switchable so as to give you “3” maps. Open Loop ;Closed loop and the talk is they have a Limp mode as well. Cant tell you what the Sherco feels like but I can say the TE510 has a harder “sled” feel to it then the Crf450 (regoable model). Just curious , does the 09 get the “racekit” with it..aka the last run which got the Titanium pipe and a few “hot bits”? The Husky OZ site has some go harder parts they’re marketing now..and they’re backing their product as well. best ofluck wit h whatever you choose Mal.Mr Blue wrote:

Can’t use our own blokes, apparently too lazy and too complacent.
18 months later the contractors (huge company) had finished the southern side 20-30 workers working night and day, 25% over budget.
What the hell the moneys getting tight can our blokes start the northern side?
12 months, and 250k under budget later, including locating and safely removing 8 previously forgotten underground fuel tanks our 6 “lazy idiots” had done the job, including finishing off the bollards for the other side and redoing new Ped crossings.
My morale? sometimes overheads are pure gluttony, I know one little firm that had 12 workers and off them 8 of the owners family members drawing huge salaries, all the while paying base award and charging customers top dollar. They no longer have that business.

Thats why we got it so good in the mines .We’d strip and gouge cracks out of an illmade Ballmill, run a nonstop shutdown, 30+ hrs later Mills back online..the Mines staff wanted 2 weeks.when the $ get tight, the mines put off the contractors?? go figure
When I first got into teh mining game, i worked as a Contractor for $9.76hr+ Ot rates allkinds of penalties and bonuses..If I worked O/T my “contracted rate ” went up with it and capped at $120/hr for the company whom i worked for. I could earn some serious money, but my employers were making a killing. On the Bike shops…I have found a shop I’m happy to use..Yes I am capable of most things on my bike, however teh anti pains tend to make me forgetfull of shit ..so i spend the $’s to make sure its done right…after all..it cost a heap and was 16yrs in the making..Saying this..it took some time to find one I’d recomend.
Maybe Time to think about “Trading it in”…?
Yes..I’m interested
Will have to talk to minister of War and Finances before i can confirm…will know more for certain tomorrow… Awesome little things they are……
I dont know if its a help Old Al..A friend of mine had a similar exp. his seemed to have started form the “Horn” connector..I think it had broken off and jammed between one bit of metal and another..It didnt blow the inline fuse either and looked like it ran from the ignition area. best of luck with it..
