    plus 1, Mick

And the days when peter williamson in the toyota celica was abusing cars when they wouldnt get out of his way with the first on board camera , I could go on forever with memories of this race as a kid ,
i do think it was better when the car you had in your shed at home was the same as what was racing at bathurst for 2 reasons
    1. you could actually give it to the ford supporters knowing there was a difference between the cars not just the badge and shell
    2. the performance parts for motor ,suspension etc that you could buy for your car at home were tested and gauged on how they performed after a 1000km at bathurst
im not a lover of V8 supercars and dont follow it at all but a bathurst fan i am and if this is the formula they race there thats what im watching

as being an owner of a ss hatchback torana and a follower of the “real “days of touring car racing icant agree more that you are only following a badge on the grille and the rest of the car is the same as any other car out there both manufacteres dont produce 5 liter motors in there cars in this country. This is the only race i watch all year and couldnt be bothered watching any other crap.
i hope they would go back to the days of real manufactered cars one day and have a cars that the punters can buy out the shop, stick a price limit on them so it stops one off hybrid cars and let the real drivers get out there and manhandle something you or i could get our hands on i say

from what i have been reading the format is sx on the saturday night and then the folloing day its turned into an Arena cross for those people that want to make the transition from MX to SX with some of the major jumps taken out and give the punters a go on a stadium style track

just went through this myself open a photobucket account upload your photos into that you will see a share underneath the photo once uploaded click on that
(start 2 pages up with 1 being your post for oldbulls and 1 being for your photobucket page and keep them both open ready) which will come up with your codelink,
scroll across that with your cursor while holding down the left clicker on your mouse makesure all letters are covered in blue ,
once this is done up in the left hand corner you have file, edit ,view ,favorites, tools and help hit edit and then copy,
once thats done go back to your oldbulls page right click and then hit paste then submit

    hope this helps mate

i agree with you moto that 2 strokes dirtbikes arent much chop on the road but if your only goin to the corner shop or if your close to work(and i mean close) it wouldnt be real bad but i wouldnt like to be riding long or even medium distance for that matter i wouldnt do it on a 4stroke for long distances either on something thats decent for the bush on tar i have been in the past a husky fan but that was a while ago i dont go much on the later model huskys 2007 would be my cut off on the huskys anything after that motos option would be painful but i would have to think about it the 310 is still the older style base it would be the pick of them

sounds like its running to lean, with it over heating but as you dropped the needle a clip it should have sorted it out, have you blown the jets out and just done a general clean out and how many turns have you got your air mixture screw out
