looks like you had a great ride, thanks to wallyboy for taking the ball and running with it, it was a pretty heavy saturday night for me but it was good to catch up with the mates some i havent seen in over 10 years, my mate had a ball laughed his head off all night so it was good to take his thoughts some where better, cheers Ian

That expansion chamber would be gone on the first decent log without putting the mother of all bashplates on it. Its obviously designed only for blokes that can ride soley on the back wheel wherever there are obstacles, which certainly leaves me out.

my boys were 4 and 6( now 6 and 8) had the kdx 50 for 2 years now and bought the ktm at christmas , ive been pretty steady with them over the first couple of years with pretty much bush riding with them .It was there first time on a track with a heap of other kids on the weekend and they both struggled a bit with everything happening around them (and getting used to boots and new gear) but i think they improved the more time they got on the track and absolutely loved it, so in my experience so far is just let them get the time to do it they will improve and at this age they will listen to you to
i think the best thing i have taught them is to go out and not worry what anyone else is doing and get caught up inracing someone and going to fast for there level , they have come off but nothing serious( can never have enough protective gear either , they fall off and hurt themselves to bad ealy in the piece i reckon you will scare them off bikes alltogether). and they always get back on.
So osmooian it may a tad early at the moment but give her a week or 2 and just show up with a PW50 as a maternity present………….maybe!!!

Stefan merriman pulled up behind me while iwas getting all the gear on the kids , didnt realise who he was at first just said gday to him and when i worked out who he was i told the boys that they were being overtaken by a 4 time world champion and later when the kids were bench racin at lunch i heard my youngest fella saying he overtook a 4 time world champion LOL but you could tell straight away he was something else he just glided over the jumps and nailed or the apexes on the corners
