its what you find comfortable snow , you have to wear it for long stints as you know , I was lucky enough to be in sydney for work at the time and i went down to a bike shop that had all the body armour you could get and tried them all on to find a comfortable one , for me it was the alpine star bionic 2 jacket its comfortable and very protective it is a bit dearer i have seen it for $360 but i got mine for $310 but my advice is get and try some on

i got income protection after i dislocated my shoulder last year , cant tell you the details cause the wife sorted it all out but my biggest problem wasnt the riding which was clearly stated to them , it was when she told them i was a truck driver they didnt want anything to do with me.

After much consideration of this ride the inititial thought of 2 big days of riding i thought would be a good idea but after doing the loops we wouldnt get back until 4 or 5 oclock on sunday which isnt real good for the blokes that have to travel . So ive changed the format of this ride to accomadate this problem so the ride is still on at Stroud but the plan is now

Friday: i will be there at 1 oclock so if anyone wants to get there for a couple of hours run on friday your quite welcome

Saturday:leave the showground 7 30 – 8 am and head over to o sullivans gap servo as the trip into buladelah from the edge of the bush is about 12 km of dirt roads and tar compared to popping out of the bush about 100m from osullivans gap servo which has fuel and a road house that does a good burger in the one spot , i assure you this will be a good day of riding( 140-150 km) and should be back at the showground between 4 and 5 in the arvo

Sunday: for those who want to i thought we could do another loop i have a stroud which would be a bout 80 to 90 km ( enough to do a tank full of juice)and would put us back around 1oclock in the afternoon which would give everyone time to get back home at a reasonable hour and not driving home late and fatigued.
    cheers Huskybloke

ive had my share of changing tyre this weekend with a new bridgestone 5mm heavy tube for the front to put in and a rear rotation for the ride in the morning i grabbed a couple of bourbans and headed for the shed turned the TV and with friday night football, made a night of it still got to use tyre levers to take them off but with grab a big bottle of baby powder from the missus bath supplies and a rubber mallet and to easy put them on , hopefully withthe big thick tubes i wont get a flat but stiil carry spare tube and tyre levers on rides
