February 8, 2011 at 9:31 pm in reply to: Mick’s Annual Birthday Ride 4th & 5th of March 2011 #196186you just enjoy yourself Mick, its your birthday and all the rest have come along for the ride whatever the trails . After having a sniff around up there with you and moose at christmas time with a rider that had only his second ride in 12 years i dont think there will be any complaints, enjoy it
micknmeld wrote:Graded 3-4 as per our grading system. Majority grade 3 with a grade 4 hill or two thrown in, pending weather conditions. There maybe sections that could be graded as a grade 2 by some riders (short main trail, transport sections for instance). It is all in the fun of it.
Rest assured there will be mud, rocks, logs, lantana, hills, a creek or two and most importantly a fun day out with a group of like minded characters that are pleasure to enjoy a post ride beer with.Bearing in mind it isn’t a paid ride and due to the unpredictable nature of trail riding, you get what you get and I dont want to hear anyone whinge about the trails, being to hard or two bloody easy or that there was a hold up due to some unforeseen event.
It is my ride and I will have set the trails for me and my mates to enjoy.Any other issues, call lifeline.
spoke to the publican last night at the stroud pub $50per room with $10 dolars extra per person with tis in mind you can fit 3 and four into the room which could work out about $23 dollars a night per person and he has enough shed room to fit 20 bikes and if theres more he will find room . what does every one think
