I loved the coverage last night.
Reed killed it but we are in for a good series. Thought Alessi would have gone better and it will be epic to see him and Villopoto bang bars.
I thought the two strokes in the Lites class would have been quicker off the line but the 4 bangers smashed them!

i had the RG500, had it for 13 years what a bike it was ported , timing discs opened up to suit ,square 4cylwith primary drive in the middle they were 4 125 motors welded together with flatside carbys couldnt hear your self think when it was pinned with the induction noise and i rebuilt it from the ground up race tech gold valves in the forks the list was endless , but something had to go out of the shed to support my habit ….. dirtbikes!! sold it for 10000 6 years ago they have certainly gone up since then! but its allright ive had a great time on my dirtbikes and ive also got the the ss 5L hatchback torana as the toy /investment which ive had for 8 yeras now. those RZ 350 were no slouch either, hope you get ittwobanger wrote:

Capt, a mate from work just brought an RZ back from the dead long story short his uncle hadn’t started it for 10+ years, and gave it to him and now it’s back on the road leaving a blue haze. Funny thing it attract’s a lot of attention with people wanting to buy it. Be good to have an RZ500 though worth big $$$ now.

If Reed goes to Honda , the big question is, is he goin to ride a XR650

you cant knock those XR650s, XR600s there a great bike i had the XR650 L but stripped it down and set it up just like a 600, got rid of the battery crap on the end of the bike and put it in the airbox and ran a unifilter pod filter with a staintune header and pipe on it and the best part it had the BUTTON!!! had it 3 1/2 years and it never broke down on me or had to rebuild it , oh those were the days

you couldnt mistake that bloody husky the overflow bottle was directly under the left leg and would steam out straight onto your leg

I had a 07 525 & my current 09 530 both fitted with ktm thermo fans.Expensive but well worth it.Even in summer 30c+ on single trail in the sand dunes of stockton beach no overheating.Well worth the investment.
Just a note, if you fill the radiators more than 15mm above the fins the expansion will overflow onto the exhaust & cause steam. This can be mistaken for a boiling bike. ;)

    Just my 2 cents worth
