Based in Sydney and am a bit mad on the XR’s. I owned one when I worked for Honda. Had a range of different bikes but kept going back to the BRP as an all rounder for some reason.
I travel to the States a lot and I think the abundance of ideas and parts for them sort of kept me in them. It currently holds 38 litres and it stands 2 inches taller than standard.
I do like 2 strokes though. Not on a long haul, although Yamaha did release an RD250/350 based adventurer in the UK. That would interest me.
I am currently building a HPN style R80G/S so might be on a bavarian before too long.
