Trying to shorten your riding career?
    Keen Mate Keen ….
Just upgrade the trail bike, the new ones are good fun on an MX track, might need a set of heavier springs but at least you have a new bike for both options
Why not a 300 2 banger? (I’d love to see you on the singles at Taree on one of those!!)

Love my MY11 310, nice power, a MY12 would be a better option as I spent a bit on suspension and pipe to get it right, looks like mods to the MY12s has solved that.
Keeps up with the 450s Ok unless your doing drags, in the bush its faster and easier!

I fitted a Barrett to my TE310, when it arrived, I looked down the pipe and there was one flat perforated sheet ‘washer’ between the end of the pipe the the exhast valves! I thought I’d be noisy as buggery with that little back pressure but the bike is only very slightly louder than stock in one section of the noise range (lower end of the spectrum) and the bike performs much better. Pipe is well made, fitted easily and well (less than 5minutes to swap) and impressed all my mates. B)
Locally made by a Guy who supports Ol’ Bulls, how could you go wrong?
Suggest you go with the Barrett, after all, you’ve already go the end cap!! :woohoo:
    Cheers Iva

Try posting up here if you want a quick arvo run, you’d be surprised at how fast you get a couple of companions, even mid week.

Yep still with AECOM, we should ask around and line a ride up, it’d be excellent to see a few of us out of the fluro gear and flat out through the bush. Nig C from Xstrata Corporate used to ride a bit too.
I’ll ask around and send you a PM if it looks like we can get something happening.

Might have a little more to do with the Spanish being close to Greece’s financial position Ollie, better to reduce profit margins or reduce export tariffs than have the whole country default!!

OK I’ll throw my useless opinion in too, why not a mid size, I’ve got the Husky TE310 but there’s heaps of others, you get more torque so you don’t have to rev the crap out of it and keep it on the boil like a 250, they are generally over sized 250s so you do get a weight advantage provided you don’t buy red as the Japanese seem to thnk a trail bike sould weight 33% more than a MX bike so it will go better in the bush – go figure.
However, if your old and fat (like me) the 2 st is not a bad option, everything Ollie put forward is pretty right in my book (though he does write with his rose coloured glasses on !!)
The answer is to get along to a ride day or play swaps with your mates till you find what you like!
On top of all this shite, Bob is the rightest of us all … get out there Dude and do it!!
