Exercise Bike, Elipse machine, 30 minutes a day plus squats.
I’m now 48 :S and that was the only way i could get my fat ar$e off the seat for long enough to avoid monkey butt, suggest you do the same Murph, the pain is worth it.
I can remember at the start of last season just being happy getting thru a ride, :side: last ride … nope the one before (the exercise don’t help alcoholics memory loss!! )I got to the top of a sizeable hill at Dungog and was so stoked I did several donuts and still had energy left. ;)
Only way to go my friend, and gets you away from the KY jelly jokes too so double bonus method. By the way, I’m still fat and drink too much beer and eat too much but there’s a little hard under the lard !!

Yeh same around Claro (Clarence Town for the uninitiated), heaps of crap, asbestos (at least with that one you know the morons won’t have removed it with adequate OH&S precautions and will probably eventually get asbestosis) but the one that gets my goat is dumping stolen cars then torching them … and all the surrounding bush and anything else that gets in the way (houses, fences livestock … trail bike riders).
    Hang e’em high i say!
[…but then I do work in the enviro business]

    Yeh Ollie,
I’ve had a few lets see, WR250 (’80), WR 430 (’82), WR250 (’95 ) and my current sled TE450. Also had a XR630 with full Ballards through it somewhere in the middle. Funny, bought that bike new, spent as much as it cost making it go Ok, replaced almost everything on it (including the frame!)and it was Ok when i sold it but pretty used. I rebuilt the old WR430 and it was maybe 8 or 9 years old when I got it, never broke, always went awesome the quality difference between the two was unbeleiveable. Thats why I’m not keen to move, had some mates who bought the KTM450s and they did a heap of engine bearings after a couple of years, I like riding bikes not working on them. I looked and the Gassers and TMs but I have a good relationship with my local Husky dealer and I recon for the price, I can get the WR300, a Rekluse clutch, port the cylinder, revalve the suspension and still come out close to the same money as the others new.
    Still undecided though.
