I’m amazed Gazza, e-injection on a bike that old. Mmm I had a 430 husky from about 81 that would have ripped with that … but then there was the brakes (yeh Gazza, ur right NONE! :woohoo: ) and the handling … no big jumps but f’n flat out thru the bush (imagine a 430 2St with 6 gears that would do 100mph in the bush) … or was that cause i was young and somewhat bullet proof??? probably the second one!! …. better add stupid to that, though in my defence I knew no better
Impressive Mate. keep the updates coming!!

Nice topic Snowy, not sure how serious you are but…..
I think there might be a mountain goat or two amongst us as well, you know, the pi$$ in the beard type who can go up anything?
And also, what about the Nundle folk, couple of mad old rams up there eh??
and i’ve seen bloke who can ride past a mud hole wihout wallowing in it … water buffaloes….
So maybe we should just go with a bovine theme …. just a thought….

Also use thread tape between the lever perch and the bars to allow them to spin instead of breaking.
The bark busters should prevent broken levers though. The bark busters need to be slightly higher than the levers and done up tight so they can’t move when you crash.
I havnt broken a lever ever with bark busters.

Me either Jimmy, sounds like the Barkbusters are not set right, I don’t use any of the other stuff mentioned here, my levers are done up tight so they dont work loose and annoy me. As Jimmy says, set the barkbusters slightly above the levers so they don’t quite touch and go for it.
Keeping the bike upright helps too ;)
