And as usual the photos dont do the hills justice. They were a hell of a lot steeper than the pic sugest. Top marks though Smurf for getting back on and having a crack.

I dont undrestand the game and really dont care much about it but i watched it anyway with the father in law.

One thing slapped me in the face and that is the one eyed biased comments from the comments. For example, even after the game finished the commentators spent probably 90% of there time talking about the Eels and where they went wrong instead of congratulating the winning team.

Yea i am victorian but as i said i dont particularly care for the game.

Rant over. Just packing the soapbox away.

think about it Jak,,the milk will not have matured to its optimin age,,it will be extracted an hour earlier and the moo cows are reluctant to give up under prepared moo juice, hence day light saving effecting the cows milking,,,

Dont get me started on the chickens laying,,thats a whole new story?? ;)

I still dont get it. :(

I’m not saying the farmers dont have point, but in what you are saying isnt it the farmer who wants the milk an hour earlier and not the cows ?

Is there an argument in the transportation of the milk etc being an hour earlier ? Just asking.

How good is that! I’ll have to put my old daylight savings curtains up so I don’t ruin the good ones ;)

At a stretch i can sort of understand the curtains argument, only if i think real hard, but the cows get me. Regardless of what the clock says, cows line up to get milked at the same time everyday. Not to many cockys i have known are bound by the clock.

As for next weekend I’m working on it.

Dont stress Smurf, I’ve got a couple of others coming, whom one is a member here and the other, well lets say you and him can compare life during the first world war. 😆 😆 😆

And dont forget daylight savings. Put your clock forward one hour.

To early for me to commit at this stage, but I’m not working so I’ll see what the family is up to.

I’ll still run with this weekend and then hopefully post up another ride next week.
