Just wondering what the GoPro’s cost and if the sponsors stock them?
Cheers.
thought i might see about getting rid of the victorian community box brownie and updating
Just spoke to a mate who tried to ride in this area and he said it is a mess after the rain we’ve had.
A hard slog.
I’ll play it by ear as more rain is tipped during the week.
But there is a back up plan if needed.
I can only sit here and dream about doing somthing like that.
Have an awsome one.
I spent a number of years working in the areas the safari goes through and i tell ya its not nice country. Hope the rain stays away.
Good luck to yourself and Dave. Stay safe
Cheers

Quote:I spoke with another dealer in Melb today. Same deal to have the rear resprung and overhauled and forks done but could not believe the price $1600 and three day turn around. How could the price be so different. I think I’ll wait for Chad to returnHow could they justify that?
Obviously dont want your business or if they do they’ll laugh at ya when the bills payed.
Good work Boulder.
Make sure you let us know how the ride is after refitting.

I had mine done and there is no comparrison to the original springs. I weigh in at a shade under 130kg along with a long range tank and now have confidence in leaning and turning the bike. If the person doing the work know what they are on about they should be able to set it up to your style/liking.Where did you get yours done Jak? I will need to gaet my Wr done when i pick it up.
Same place as Smurf. Chads off road setup.
Dont know how it affects the wr’s but i know with the DRZ’s ya wont be disappointed.
Money well spent.

I have heard that after the mod its a totally different ride.(fingers crossed)apparently he will be doing shims and all that other stuff in there as well.
Completly different ride. As it was explained to me- “riding with the original suspension is like r#@ting a morbadly obese girl on a water bed. Your all over the place” I do a bit of tar riding with mine and now i can keep the bike in a straight line.
Just went out to the shed and sussed what was fitted to mine. Teknik 19-190 50 (what ever that means)

So they keep telling me. Funny thing is I ride the same trails at the same pace and turn up at the same locations as everybody else. Must just be my riding talent, or everyone elses lack off.
X2 Scotty. Could not agree more.
Probably not the same pace but thats only because of my riding ability. Not the bikes fault.
FYI adrians new bike comes with a vercro seat and roll cage.
Good work Smurf.
You should have dropped in. I was home all arvo trying to entertain me two year old.
Make sure ya get choppa to show ya how to run it in.
Sorry Menace, but didnt make it down there today for your pics.
If you search “anglesea” on Youtube there are a heap of ride videos on it.
Cheers
