Yeh its well away from the tank.

Rode the bike down to the car wash about an hour ago and the heaters work well. As said earlier high is probably too high as even in this cold it started getting a bit warm.

Think i answered my own question. If theres doubt, its wrong. So I made up a bracket and it now sits between the forks under the headlight assembly.

Finaly got the heaters on and working a charm. Only question is; because the resistor gets hot is it safe where i’ve mounted it ??
